It worked for me. I don't have any experience with professional ones so I can't really compare. Only issue I had with it was that I couldn't fit my MH bulb into the pyrex glass; I had to use the HPS. So if you're trying to put an MH bulb in it and its diameter is longer than 3 3/4" you're out of luck. The commercial ones use 6" tho.

Found some balls on Maria, guess she went hermie. I decided to remove her lest she ruin the rest of the crop. I'm not sure yet, but I'm having some suspicions that El Rapido might be going hermie too :(

I doubt it, it's only been in flower for a few days. I think it might be because of the heat stress they were under a while ago. Tis unfortunate, but I'm trying to stay positive! I was only expecting 3 females out of the batch anyway, which is why I planted 6.

El Rapido turned out to be straight up male. Pulled him yesterday, leaving me with 3 confirmed 100% (So far at least) females.

I think the two taller ones (Sinsemilla and Joy) are probably the Sativa variant of the AK47 strain, and the shorter one (Chimichanga) the Indica strain.

Day 58

All the tops of my plants are looking pretty healthy, however I'm having a few issues with the leaves towards the bottom.

I've been feeding them 1/3 dose of the Fox Farm trio every two to three waterings. Up until I put them into flower a week and a half ago I was watering around once a week, and since flowering it's been every 3 days.

Any help you could give me would be great.


Chimichanga has yellowing and browning leaves around the bottom



Joy has these yellow/white spots on the leaves toward the bottom. She has had these for a while, so I'm not sure if the issue is past? None of the new growth on top seems to have it.

Flower: 16 days

Took some shots of Joy and Chimichanga. They're starting to form some nice buds.

Sinsemilla needs to be watered every 2 days, whereas the others only get watered every 4 days. Is there some way I can get Sinsemilla to retain her water for longer? I heard from someone that I could just put a layer of peat moss on top, would that help?

Here's some pics of sinsemilla. She definitely has the best looking buds out of the bunch so far.

The girls still don't smell all that much, which is really surprising from what I've heard about this strain. I think it's probably due to the air purifier/negative ion generator I have on the inside of the grow room. I'm not complaining tho!:mrgreen:

looking good man... I had heard thos ion generators killed plants... doesnt seem to be hurting yours lol... WHat brand?
