Illinois medical marijuana card wait time

Mailed app received 11/16
Check cashed 2/6
I just called today and they said the app is in the early stages of processing and that I would receive a letter or the card on or before 2/16.
Does anyone know if their printer is back up? Is the letter they are referring to the printer down letter that gives access to the dispensary?

The printer is rolling again and the letter will provide access to the dispensary.

I've been watching this thread avidly for the past weeks and thought I'd throw my dates out here for people.
10/23/18 app mailed via USPS with return receipt
10/25/18 app received by IDPH
1/14/19 Check cashed
2/7/19 informed by phone call to IDPH I have been approved, provisional letter mailed and sent to printer

I called numerous times after not seeing anything for 2 weeks after my check was cashed. Was told its "processing" multiple times. Then I was told its approved, but its waiting on verification of address by the Secretary of State, that went on for five days. Called on Monday and was put through to a supervisor ... got voicemail, of course, left a message in return I got an email with no more information.

All I can suggest to those who sent their application in during October-November is CALL at 90 days and keep calling! Eventually the squeaky wheel does get oil.

im oct 19 i applied by mail too..i still got nothing..no letter no card nothing im pissed i only did the 1 year card..i certainly hope renewing the card isnt as brutal as applying!!

Has anyone who got the "printer down, but here's your access" letter gotten their actual card yet? My letter expires in 19 days, and I'm not feeling super confident I'll have my card before then.

Do you know if they cashed your check ? And you’ve called them already ?

I spoke to a lady yesterday and she told me that mine is processing. She didn’t say approved or denied, but she did say be on the look out on the 19th :hug:
