Setting up a sealed room for winter - any advice?

Unfortunately not yet. There were or are some circumstances I have only limited power over Now when it is getting warmer, it is kind of a bit a problem, as I now don't have money for the mini split and need to rely on air ventilation. Actually I am trying to sort that out this weekend. How to ventilate and scrub both rooms. But I am not sure how to do that properly for two rooms concerning pressure drop you get with an active charcoal filter and without making huge holes into the walls between the rooms.

Actually how expensive are mini splits?

like any a/c unit ,you need to evacuate the system and charge it.

look up DIY minisplits. I use an IdealAir 12,000 btu with heatpump that runs 115v, never over 760 watts. It has is precharged and has a quick connect, so this thing can be moved very easily. If you can follow directions, it is a breeze.

i have my controller set to turn off at 900 ppm and turn on at 800 ppm.eccotemp l5 portable water heater.with how i have it set now usually on 15 seconds to maybe 30 seconds.

I have the same eccotemp I5 now. I used it outdoors for shower couple of times. It seems to turn of when there is some wind. (ecootemp writes: High Wind. For safety reasons, the heater will not start in sustained wind, find an alternate location for the water heater.) Happened to me actually couple of times when using the device outside for showering. Do you have any issues with the flame turning off? I guess with a fan this probably will happen. So your eccotemp is connected to a ppm sensor device which will start the heater? What happens if the bottle of propane goes empty or the ignition battery of the burner is empty, will the pump then pump endlessly?

when the propane tank runs out,the pump does stay on.when i get home,i unplug it and have to let the water cool off after changing the tank.
i have not had a problem with the flame blowing out.i do not have a fan blowing near it though there is much air movement in the room it is in.

It is coming from the pump and from the hose attached to the pump. Can you give me advice how to install the pump so there is not much vibration to the surrounding? See the picture for the current state of innstallation.

Another question: These heaters work with batteries. If the batteries are empty but the pump is pumping, does the room fill with gas?

i use a utility pump that is in the water .you could make a free standing rack to mount the pump so the vibrations do not transmit to your house or use some sort of rubber between the pump and your wall to cut down on vibrations
if the batteries are dead,my guess is that nothing happens.i change mine every 6 months.

how much noise does the utility pump make?

it is just a cheap utility pump.like a sump pump but with no float.i can hear the water flowing when it turns on.my set up is in a pole barn though.turns on for less then thirty seconds numerous times a day.

instead of buying another pump,just make a free standing frame from wood.you could mount the pump on a board and then let the board hang from bungee cords not touching anything.i used to hang my exhaust fans that way with bungee cords so they didint make as much noise.

ok. I also need for my clones and mother plants a pump. they have a different reservoir and table.

How strong is your pump? How much watts? I am wondering if a sump pump can shoot the water too strong? Actually I see they are even cheaper then aquarium pumps...

I looked at your pictures, there is a tap at each plant. The pump is pumping at all the taps at the same time or how does your feeding work?

i thought this is about the pump for the water heater for co2 .i do use this pump for the on demand water heater.i also use one for my feeding of my plants in veg room.there is 6 plants being fed by the one pump through a manifold with 6 shut off valves.i adjust the valves since i have plants of all different ages in the veg room.both pumps sit in my reservoirs .my flower room has 6 small fountain pumps feeding each plant individually.

oh yes, sorry. The question was intitially about the co2 heater. Actually I was also thinking a lot about the other pumps which I need, so that is why I got it mixed up

Btw how the shut off valve is controlled? With a main controller like for the lawn irrigation? Or somehow at the valve directly?

they are just regular shut off valves.i partially close the valves since my feed cycle is every 90 minutes ,30 seconds.small plants do not have enough roots so usually wide open valve,as plants get bigger,i start closing them so they do not overlow out of container as roots slow down the water draining back to return bucket.

There are vibration isolation washers that are supposed to stop any transfer of vibration to the mount.
