Same here,, was just wondering about the other brands out there, & if anyone has ran them.

I had a lumatek that wouldn't light one time. So I don't buy them any more, or any cheap ones. Not worth the drive back to the shop if there is an issue. The hortilux always burns.

I would definitely agree with that I've never tried any other names only super hortilux,, that's why I'm asking,, I take that back I've used a Ultra Sun's 1000w MH for veg but only ever eye hortilux on flowering

Also I just did some research,, alot of the other companies bulbs put out 95,000 lumens & eye hortilux only puts out 88,000 lumens,, that is from a 600watt hps. Is 7k in lumens that big of a difference???

Honestly I have to say.....replace your HPS with CMH, Phillips (at this time) make the best CMH bulb.

It's spectrum as much as lumens.

Awesome I need to try them. I need a 600w bulb,, powermaxx sent me a hps bulb with setup,, but it is junk.. Need a new 1 asap.

Sunmaster makes them for 600 watter to.
When I breed plants I use a 600 watter yellow blossom in 5X5 tent.
Been using the yellow blossom with great results.

None of my local grow shops carry Sunmaster bulbs,, are they safe to order over the internet?? By safe I mean not getting a used bulb or broken..

I get mine off eBay for £28 with no problems if you pay any less I wouldn't trust it.

I think its better to buy cheap bulbs and replace them often. If you can afford to replace expensive bulbs often then thats even better.
