Professional advice to fix my plant issue

but it's a trace element and locks out typically in hydro b/c of low PH levels

this looks like soil ....

the plant might be begging you for more nutes. You might be causing irreversible damage to the plant by standing by a 'light feed' philosophy.

If you choose to go low ppm in the roots - you need to complement with foilar feed.

But have you checked? I also have the ph perfect advanced nutrients and it does not ph the water despite how it reads
These are my girls before and after checking ph on feedings they went from droopy sad seedlings to happy perky within a day

Hi Juiceifer,
I always check the pH after adding the nuts and it's between 6 and 7.

Thanks for your contribution on this thread Redivider, the documentation you provided are valuable.
The symptoms looks really like a MO dificiency, but like you said this is not common is soil besides it's caused by low pH but my runoff is always above 7.

I think you are just underfeeding. The light feed thing may hold up well in veg but once the plants are flowering they really need more to eat.

The other way around.

Montana State Unversity Published this a while back - while it's more directed towards wheat and corn growing - a lot of plants show very similar symptoms and could be applied to cannabis.

Name of the Publication: Plant Nutrient Functions and Deficiency and Toxicity Symptoms

by Ann McCauley, Soil Scientist;
Clain Jones, Extension Soil Fertility Specialist; and
Jeff Jacobsen, College of Agriculture Dean

Not sure the original publication date - but it was re-printed in 2011 - left on a server somewhere and I found it.
Sorry, didn't have all the info on your plants. Just went by your first postings. Good luck

I'm not sure it's only about the light feeding because the ppm of the runoff is in the average of 400ppm, so I was always thinking it's a pH problem that prevent the plant from absorbing the nuts and I couldn't control it even by flushing multiple times.

Well you stated the runoff is between 6 and 7. 6.5 is a perfect pH for soil. I also don't put a lot of credit into checking runoff pH unless it is WAY off. If you really think you have pH problems I would recommend getting a good soil pH probe like the this.

a 400 PPM runoff doesn't mean anything except that your feed hasnt built up a toxic salt level. I would want to see an input PPM of say 1000 and the runoff shouldnt get really strong, like it it's running off at 1500PPM then you have a salt buildup in the soil.

Even AN recommends a higher PPM of right around 1000 for adult plants. For me when I used their stuff according to label with RO water (5 PPM) my mix ended up right about 970 PPM.

I would be pH'ing everything I put into this plant...water, feed, whatever. Forget about what the manufacturer says or claims...check it for your own sanity.

Secondly, I would give her a small dose of readily available N and see if your plant greens up. I suspect you're not feeding it enough, especially being it's in the early stages of flower; this is when the plant is demanding the most.

Thirdly, stop flushing. You haven't noted one good response by your plant to your flushing; there's your sign. The flushing is a misnomer; it's not the fix for this sort of problem. Good luck friend.

have you tried upping the PPM to 1000?

Yes o r no question.

right? Meanwhile his plant gets sicker. smh

It's not a small plant either, it looks bushy like it takes a lot of nutes and drinks a lot of water....

I would up the PPM and use a syringe to inject micorriza (however it's spelled) into the soil, and dirty the waterings with just a drop or two of molasses to help that bacterial/fungal colony start thriving..... see if it helps that fucker... I wouldn't flush.

That soil doesn't seem to have too much of anything, it seems to be lacking.....

^ Agree, pH issue

Obviously expecting the nutrients to self-adjust optimally isn't working. Adjust everything you feed to 6.5 for best results, good luck

That's a big plant, lots of red veins and leaf stems too.

You need to feed it more...

My second tip would be tap water sucks, you can get a cheap R/O system and it will last you for years and get rid of these headaches of unknown mineral content in the water. If this is a hobby you're looking to continue for the long term I would definitely look into an R/O system.

I think this is the solution I have left, thank you for your help @redivider and to everyone who contributed in this thread you have been hepful in a way or another.
