Transitioning to Flower, Question

Are there any do's and don'ts during the transition process to flower or is it simply change humidity and light timing?

You can do it over a couple of days if possible also make sure to keep feeding veg nutrients for a couple of weeks to help with stretch
Also make sure that if you topped or stressed the plant in any way that it’s at least a week before flip

I just topped yesterday, so ill wait til next saturday, just worried they'll grow a bit too much in that time. when you say over a couplle days do you mean instead of going straight 12/12 do like 15/9 a few days, 14/10a few days, 13,11, 12,12

That just happened to me, topped it and next thing I know, it's taller than before. Moved her into 12/12 this morning.

If you’re worried about being to tall just gently bend the branches. If you put it on 12 x12 to to early after topping the plant will not heal good and stunt some

does this do anything at all? the light switch that is. i've read going from 24/0 or 20/4 to lower light slowly due to shock but most said 18/6 to 12/12 shouldn't be too bad.

im guessing more growth thus why people lower it slowly? more hours of light so slightly more growth over the weeks/days?
