Two Cob Cree fixtures vs one CMH and one Cob Cree fixture?

Unsure if I should use Two Rapid LED CXB3590 (2" X 2", 3000K) at 63 watts each (380 total watts)

One of those same Rapid LED CXB3590 fixtures with ONE vertical hanging Phantom CMH with a 3100k or 4200k bulb.

What say you veteran indoor growers?

Grow space is a 4 x 4" tent, I don't need to use all 16 sq ft, more like 3.25" x 3.25" will be used for plants.

I'd definitely go with the CMH, get that UV light for good resin production.

Not sure the vertical bulb is the way to go in a tent though. most of the light is going to go sideways.

A 315 with a hood would cover that 3.25 x 3.25 area really well.

Ah so the vert CMH's are meant for more open spaces, good to know. Payday is comin up soon so I will need to make a decision. Wife finally gave in last night ( LOL< Im allowed ONE illegal plant grow till my state legalizes next month.......I gotta get her started soon, want a harvest b4 my bday (Aug)

I am not familiar with those strains. Are they femmed beans? Would suck to grow one plant and it turn out to be male.

Thanks bro, I will need you to help me spread out the "one" plant for sure. Like when to top, do I scrog it or just LST it? A few oz's minimum would be nice. One plant will get a 2-3 week headstart.

I would go with a femmed bean for sure then. How long do you plan to veg it before flip? If it's only getting a 3 week head start it will get taller than the others if you will be flowering them all at once. You may want to go with the bean thats supposed to be the smallest or most indica dominant. If you scrog it and add the others you could force the older plant to be a fitter that way. May be a little difficult. Another thing is the soil you use may get exhausted before the other plants so keep an eye out for that. Be prepared to amend the soil when it does get low on nutes, plants need more when they get into the flowering cycle. I am not familiar with the organic soil growing amendments as I use bottled nutes

Could just end up being a longer head start, my state has been nazi so long it will probably take them longer then April 1st to get all the legalities and such on point. It took me 2 days of pleading my case to the wife to allow the grow...Showed her cultivation is only a misdemeanor here NOW

also bought a Phillips 3100k bulb. I just hope I can hang the bulbs vertically, not sure. So a 4200K Phillips for veg and the 3100k to aid in flower.

Also want a small cob setup, but Ledgrowersdepot is closed. Need to speak to somebody there as I surely won't attempt to build a cob cree fixture. Don't trust myself to do so.

I am not familiar with that brand CMH, but I did learn they make a socket adapter for the CMH to Mogul. Thats pretty cool. Are you going to use that as a side light? Do you think it would be too close?

After my single plant (LOL) seems vigorous enough the plan is to hang it vertically over the one plant, for now. Just gotta keep it up a good ways.

I read tonight we may get to grow 6 plants, in April hopefully. I'll add a cob cree light to the 4 x 4 by then.

3 yr warranty on that ballast, most CMH lights have reflectors that are 10 inches tall.....Between a 7 gallon smartpot and one of those reflectors I would have lost 2 feet of height in the tent.
