Suggest raising your lights.

It’s happening on lower leaves as well.. and I did heighten the lights a week ago to 16 inches from 12 and it’s getting worse.. and do they look over or under nuted

I would say that they look well fed. The lights seem close like Harley says, but I think you have an underlying issue too.

Do you ever fluctuate your ph, or always 6.5?

Do you mind if I swipe some of your pics to show a colleague?

If it was light burn, why aren't the rest of the top leaves burnt, or even bleached?

I definitely see where you are coming from but Blitz and I were on another thread earlier with the same strange discoloration. The whole plant as well.
It's not burn. It's light spectrum. The articles about it are pretty new. I got tuned in to this when the guy down the road switched to LED. But it's not heat. Most valid sources state LED should be 22"-30". It affects calcium greatly.

Interesting...

Interesting indeed.. hopefully raising the lights to above 20 inches doesn’t effect yield or potency at all, would increasing air movement help when I already have a fan blowing on them? It’s on low though.. should I put it on high and risk wind burn?
leds don’t have the greatest penetration.. ps. you can use my pics for anything.

These lights are made a little weird.. half blue half red sprectrum with some 3000k and some 7000k white leds mixed in and some infrared diodes.. I’ve tried a pre mature nug I dried when I needed more space and it’s def going to be some potent stuff. Lights are only drawing 200 Watts each times 2 plus my homemade led drawing 80 Watts .. total 480 led Watts for 3 plants

I test the drip off and if it fluctuates then I’ll go a little lower or higher till it hits 6.5 where soil can take most nutrients I assume.. the advanced nutrients tries to keep it a little low so I use a lot of potassium ph up and stopped doing so lately afraid of putting too much ph up in and drain off is around 6 now.. should I keep using a bunch of ph up¿

I use voodoo juice beneficial bacteria and I think they like a higher ph to thrive and organic molasses to feed those bitches.. anyways besides the little yellowing they are bulking really nicely fat dense nuts in top just using cheap ass bestvA lights on *mazon and a 2700k led light I made myself out of a bunch of screw in replacement leds with th plastic covering taken off to expose the leds and true kelvin Color, I’ll take a pic soon.

what ph water are you putting in to get 6.5 run off?

if you are putting in water that is PH 8 or more and getting 6.5 then your growing medium is probably in the low 5's for PH

the run off is always between 6 and 6.5 and I always give it around 6.5 water.. but it takes a a lot of ph up to get it at 6.5( a lot of drips lol)..after I mix nutes it’s like 5.7 then I use the potassium ph up stuff

If you put in 6.5 and get 6 then i doubt there are enough salts built up in the medium to warrant a flush. Back off your PPM

The reason it is taking a lot of drops to raise the PH is probably because the PPM of your nutrient solution is so high.

I’ve been giving them half strength nutes always will go a bit lower now, thanks for the replies.. I’m not sure if I should give them straight water instead of there next feed scheduled.. every 3rd watering I give them around 3 ml per litre of advanced. Nutes 3 part.. THe weird thing about these nutrients I don’t understand is that you use the same ratio of each bottle (micro, grow, bloom) throughout all stages of growth..

would it help at all to back off the micro to cut nitrogen a bit? (Lots of good things In the micro though like all the amino acids and some kind of properatery bloom enhancers.. (thry do actually make a diff in terps for sure) thanks again

So soil is now dry and ready for a watering.. don’t know if I should feed or just straight-water or water with molasses.. afraid of burning them or messing with ph too much
