seedlings poor humidity

75 F 45% RH 2x3 tent What would be the best way to increase the humidity inside the tent. thinking about buying a digital humidifier and putting it outside the tent then let the intake fan bring in the moist air.

If you have a little room you can always add a bowl of fresh water in the tent. As it evaporates it will raise the humidity. If you have a small fan in there you can blow the fan over the bowl of water. Just one suggestion.

thank you for the suggestion, but i tried that and it never really seemed to raise the humidity levels.

the light is about two feet away from the humidity and temperature meter

i put the humidity meter outside of the tent and it was reading 41% humidity outside of the tent. so i am going to buy a digital humidifier and set it to 60% or so and see if that helps

Put as many bowls/pots/little tubs of water in there as you can. I used to hang wet towels in my closet if needed. Nowadays, I don’t bother with it. My plants veg just fine in 40% rh. Never have issues

If the plants do fine at 45% don't worry about it.I have some finishing up soon and it hardly ever got above 45%. And they are doing great.There may be differences in our grow,I am using soil.But I wouldn't worry about it yet.Maybe you will have to water a little more often.Also you may find when you start to raise your lights the RH will change also. As well the location of your meter can effect your readings.A lot of things can change as they start to grow.Keep an eye on them, you can try to fix what seems like a problem today and in a couple weeks its not a problem .Then you just caused a problem..Like XTSHO said the seedlings will be fine at 45%

The seedlings will be fine in that humidity. I wouldn’t even worry about it to be honest but others will disagree. I love winter where I am cause rh% stays between 35%-45% start to finish last grow. 70-75 degrees most days.Plants loved it.
