so about 2-3 more weeks until pre-flowers show thats when I'll take my clones. And Ive decided to get an 8 holed daisy cloner due to my lack of understanding maintnence and care during rooting. I'll need 100% success rate at all times so no fucking around with clones that dont grow roots or become nute defficient.
here pic 1 and 2 are the larger plant 2 and the shorter one with hardly any off shoots is plant 1.

As a matter of fact I think Ill be doing that next week. I want to make sure that rootball is good and healthy and grown out to put into 3 gallon. I sprinkle some benificial bacteria on the roots give them a dose of root juice and they should grow some clones in a few weeks.

Liking the ladies.

I have a handful of WBs at about a week old from seed, so I am very interested in your progress, you are about 5 weeks ahead of me...

No preflowers yet and both of the plants are still small. Thier growing slow for some reason. I have 2 strains from paradise going, WB and spoetnik#1 and theyre both showing slowed growth.
I wanted to transplant but I dont think theyve grown out of thier containers yet. I'll give them some more time.
here they are into week 7.

I would transplant but im pretty sure they have enough room to grow a bigger root system. I guess I'll feed them some root juice and see what that does for them.

OK thier in 3 gallon pots now. Sprinkled some roots oregonism benificial bacteria on the roots and fed them a dose of root juice. They look pretty happy.

Made 6 clones that are rooting in my new auto cloner. I hoe this damn thing works. My cloning skills arent that great. I took a shitload of orange bud clones and only 3 or 4 of them want to grow. The rest are stunted and yellowing.
heres some pics of the moms and clones. Moms are comin up on 8 weeks. Pretty small for thier age.

Im using 6.0 ph water (using lemon juice) and a moderate dose of root juice Root Juice in the resivoir of my cloner. The instructions recommend using preffered bloom formula when roots begin to emerge. I'll go with earth juice since it contains no nitrogen 0-3-1 rather than the pura vida 2-6-6. My next clones will be taken with EJ rootstock rooting gel instead of clonex which seems to be caustic to humans and is not organic.

Hi anhedonia, just read through your post. Could you give us actual measurement sizes along with the updates. From the base of the plant to top of plant (excluding root structure) they look to me about 30" to 36". Am I close ? :eyesmoke:

hey yellowsnakes. No, the plants are a little shorter tallest one is 29" and the smaller one is 24". The smaller one seems to be growing slow. Thier both small for thier age. I'll hit them with some root juice next feeding and see if that doesnt do something.

The daisy cloner I paid $71 for at my local hydro store but I ve seen it online for $60. So far its been 3 days since taken cuttings and I pulled the little net cups out and still saw a heaping glob of clonex still on the end of the stems. Instructions said you'll be able to see roots within 3-7 days (lets hope so) then fill the resivoir with mixture of bloom formula from there. I'll keep them in the cloner for the entire 2 weeks of rooting.

do you ever have problems with clones yellowing or stunted? That seems to be whats happened to my first 2 batches of cuttings. 3rd are still rooting but look good. And the auto cloner is working just fine. No roots yet though and its been almost 6 days.

I was told that yellowing of the lower leaves when cloning was good... i was told that it meant that they are using up the power to root... 1 batch of mine took forever to clone and they stayed green .... i have seen that browning comes with rooting.... that is why i like to leave a few leaves probably 3 nodes on my clones... it gives them those bottom two leaves for juice so to speak......

good luck man

Cool! I'll have to remember that. Somone told me it meant the clones were eating themselves and to give them a dose of N.
