Day 48 Since flip, First grow, getting close

I haven't put up an update anywhere other than my journal, figured i throw one up here, so growers who haven't been in the journal or newbies like me can have a look, leave some comments/advice or whatever you choose.

4x4 tent
600w hps
FFOF/perilite
3x Fruit Punch
1x Atomic

vegged for 45 days, topped 3 times


I will post a few current bud pics in the morning when the lights come back on.

So far so good, had a few issues with the one girl, but she seems to have bounced back since i flushed her.
The other girl seems to be naturally getting lighter in color, showing no issues other than leaf color. Her bud is very dense and frosty.

Thanks bud, funny you mention that, I have seen signs of that deficiency already. Extra dosages of mj seems to be fending it off so far lol

They appear mostly cloudy to my newbie eyes when looking though the loupe, but i only see A few ambers scattered over the plant.

ya I have to comb over the entire plant to see the few ambers, i have spotted a few, but nowhere near 5-10-15%

Are these trics considered milky to you tho? or is the picture making it hard to really tell?

Like on one pic I am seeing lots of cloudy, some milky and like 1 starting to go amber, sorta honey colored. But thats with the lighting so it is hard to be sure. Trust your eyes. Sometimes looking right when the lights come on lets you see better before the lights get all yellow.

IMO they are gonna start turning more amber soon.

Ya its definately harder to see under the hps. I might take her out of the tent and have a look under normal light later today or tomorrow.

I have seen ambers in a few spots but had a hard time trying to get a decent pic , seen a few other areas with yellowing trics about to turn amber. So i expect she will be finished soon, just not quite yet.

Plants look great man, congrats! Looks like it will be some really nice chunky nugs too. The plants seem nice and healthy which is a great accomplishment for your first grow.

From the pictures I'd say the first plant looks close, maybe around another weekish. The second 2 pictures the plants look a little less mature, and I'd be thinking 2-3 weeks.

Thank Thundercat, just looking at the plants overall, i would agree with your assessment

the one girl (Atomic) def seems further along than the other 3(fruit punch).
