They make wye fittings that might pull that off just run one tent off each side and put the blower on the other, depends on your heat load as to if the 440 CFM blower can do both though. Any inconsistency in the way the ducts are run and whatnot can cause an imbalance too.

Ya the wye for sure, better flow i imagine.

Right now the fan is exhausting the 600w hps tent on lowest setting, i want to connect the other cmh tent, not really sure of heat output in that tent yet as i only just turned one 315 CMH on last night for a couple hours before it was lights out.

I may just run the one 315 for the rest of veg (another week or 2 at most) , then turn the other 315 on when i flip.

Cant believe how bright these lamps are, its crazy.

bros i have a good problem i need help solving

FP2s buds are now so dense and juicy that they are all falling over themselves. so much weight is all shifted towards one side of the plant and i need support ....good problem to have right?

It will be once i can figure out how to solve it lol.

ANYONE?

Well now you see why I love trellis. Thats a little late to use now though. Maybe you can tie the bud up to something or use some stakes?
Ya i love the idea of the trellis , hated not having full access to the plants in the back. Wish i had kept the net installed right about now tho lol

I should be able to tie a few buds/stems back to the beefier stems on the opposite side, but only a few, cause it will run the risk of pulling that side even further maybe.

I think stakes or string seem to be my only real options at this stage

ya i seen those before when looking to buy stuff, wish i was smart enough to have bought them lol

i have lots of wooden dowels here, ill just cut a few of those off to length i need and tie them up i guess.

I have to situate things a little better in my room, i want to use trellis moving forward.

hey guys, want to run something by you, see if i can make this work the way i have it planned in my head.

i have 2 4x4 tents beside eachother.

Flower tent has the carbon filter inside, air is being pulled through the filter----> light-----> exhaust fan outside tent

My question, can i T off the outside ducting and run a line into the veg tent?

Will my 440cfm fan be able to pull from both properly?
That's almost exactly how I have my setup right now. Fan and filter are in one tent ducting outdoors, and I have 6" connecting the two, so air comes into tent one, flows to tent two, then out the window. Temps are mid 70s with only that as temp control. It should work, although I'll say the tent with the fan in it really sucks in when the lights are off and it's all closed up. Could probably use more than one 6" inlet.

I use 4 ft steaks

It sounds interesting, but I wouldn't mess with the airflow by mixing rooms. You might be fine, but it might screw up both rooms. If you do try, remember to upsize the exhaust. So 2 4" would need to combine into a 6" or bigger, 2 6" into a 10" or bigger, otherwise you could have backflow issues, forcing it from one room onto another.

If you were sucking with one fan, from both rooms, with the fan on the outside it would have a better chance of success. If you have a fan in each tent it's a no-go.

this is exactly how i picture it and what i have to work with.

1 6inch 440 cfm fan on the outside of tent, pulling from both tents.

a wye splitting off outside the tents so i can run the second 6inch line into the other tent.

I am trying to avoid buying another fan if possible

You may be able to run a wire from one side of the tent to the other and then tie buds up to that?
Ya i seen a few guys using that method, i ended up just using a few wooden dowels i had in my shop, shes all supported now.

This is the same girl with the canoeing leaves, shes gotten so beefy this past week its crazy. She also seems to now be in the lead in the tricome department, shes mostly all cloudy now and theres ambers popping up more and more.

It might be OK, but I would have the money saved for another fan just in case.

I will say this about these new lights. 1x315 dont give off much heat

The new CMH has been running all morning and temps have risen above 76 in the tent. top and bottom flaps opened and 1 16" fan on the floor in the tent. No exhaust setup in there yet.

So i expect running the 2nd for flowering will be no issue once i have exhaust running.

I haven't looked into lights for a while, what exactly is that? How big is it? How many watts? What size flower footprint is one supposed to have? How much $$ does it cost?

Basically, what is it designed to do? Is it one of many, or a stand-alone fixture?
