Hey if you're in the east valley mesa has a dispensary called trump bliss organics. There herb is fantastic in taste look and high.I'm in AZ as well and I couldn't agree more. Alot of the cannabis being grown and sold to dispensaries by 3rd parties is a complete disappointment. No terpenes, just a high THC. Not even a trace of CBD. I'm glad they're trying to put more CBD buds but they usually end up smelling like hay. I've smoked hemp with a better terpene profile than the stuff in shops. Sure, there's some buds that have somewhat impressed me. But not of recent.
Seems to me that a person could make a killing with a limited cultivation license growing small batches of some amazing smoke.https://zenpype.com/lab-testing-reveals-banned-chemicals-in-multiple-cannabis-samples-in-los-angeles/
"A television news investigation revealed that unlicensed marijuana dispensaries in Los Angeles are selling products contaminated with pesticides that have been banned by state regulators. The report from KNBC in Los Angeles purchased vape cartridges and cannabis flower from 24 dispensaries and delivery services in the area and found nearly 30 percent had traces of prohibited chemicals."
Even more reasons to grow your own!
Too bad it would cost about $50K to get into the game.Seems to me that a person could make a killing with a limited cultivation license growing small batches of some amazing smoke.
I was pricing it out and a limited cultivation license is around 3 grand. Why do you say 50k?Too bad it would cost about $50K to get into the game.
You have to have video surveillance of every square inch of the place beamed to the state 24/7, get set up with METRC, have an approved security system installed and then have the $50 ounce to pay up front before you can sell a single gram. All that money out before a nickel comes in. Permits in the boroughs. It's not cheap. Electric bills , equipment.I was pricing it out and a limited cultivation license is around 3 grand. Why do you say 50k?
That's still ridiculous. Here it's 500 square feet for the limited and no restrictions on the unlimited.Massachusetts is $1000 annual fee for tier one license. Good for up to 1000 sq/ft. Tier 2 for up to 5000 sq/ft at $2500 annually.
If it has industrial involved in the name cutting corners will always be the gamejust like cigarettes, weed is now the government mandated, inspected, and regulated market..
so go figure something u can grow without the BS is the best. BUT
if you grew 100 lbs and wanted to sell it in a batch to a dispensary as a licensed state grower and they tested any part and found any sign of any mildew, fungicide, or pesticide that is regulated then your whole batch can be rejected. If the dispensary accepts this batch and the state can prove any of these things are in that weed they will close the dispensary. This is why you should help improve the local community in organic safe growing methods without the need of commercial cut-corner growers. trust is a must and i believe eventually there will be a private market cash only like it was and much better than the government market BS
Michigan's is like 60k for first tierThat's still ridiculous. Here it's 500 square feet for the limited and no restrictions on the unlimited.
Yeah it's $66 grand annually, complete rip off. That's why dispo owners are snitching on caregivers and telling the state to crack down on delivery services.Michigan's is like 60k for first tier
I can't speak for other states, but Colorado has different grades/levels you can choose from. Top shelf, midgrade, and the budget nugs. A lot of dispensaries sell prepackaged ounces for ~$120-125 after tax. But that's usually the bottom of the plant popcorn nugs. Top shelf goes for $180-260 depending on strain and/or dispensary.I don't understand why all dispensary weed is the same price. Beer isn't all the same price. Good stuff should cost more and mid grade stuff should be cheaper.
