Yes yes ya'll you guessed it Germination.

My method 70% success rate.

1.) Soak seeds in shot glass til they sink. 12-20hrs average.

2.) Place seeds in damp paper towel and put into ziplock bag.

3.) Store in dark area "(black sock)" for 24-48hrs with temperatures of 25C RH 55%

I agree 70% success is not very good. I hope this post creates a discussion on many methods. I've been told not to soak, I've been told straight to soil, jiffy pods, etc... The list goes on.

What works for you ? What is your method ?

Paper towel folded to square and spayed with water until soaked open on flat surface. Place seedson one side spaced nicely, spray seeds. Fold back. Open quart ziplock and spray inside liberally close and seal bag with air space inside. Place on top of tent for 36 to 48 hrs........90%+ always with good quality beans.

Put the seed in coco and water with a T5 2" away from the top for heat, backed off to 5" on pop. 3-5 days to sprout, every time.

24 hours in a glass of water with 4ml pl Rhizo, on a cheap heat mat. Seed planted with the pointed end pointing UP. These are either in jiffy or root riots, back on the heat mat..

100% success, all in 2-3 days from the glass

Soak my seed starter cube in neutral pH water for a few minutes, then drop the seed in the hole. I used to do the paper towel method but the starter cubes have a much higher germination rate. Only one of mine have failed, but then again it was a four year old seed so I didn't have much hope for it anyway.

Starter cube such as " jiffy pods ? Or 1" Rockwood cubes ? Or rapid rooter cubes ? "

70% really.... i would have thought all those complexities you add to a gazillion years of nature doing it on her own with zero help whatsoever in a basic soil and acidic rain would have left her standing for sure.

What you need is some of kingrow1's special germinating paper and at five bucks for 3 a5 sheets you get two free reusable, yep i said reusable not them twist and tie but state of the art double bi lateral saftey seal pure ziplock baggies.

Apart from fly over and rent a hotel for a week and carry out germination for you this is the next best thing.

RiU wont let me link to my website, some long argument with the mods about im not a site advertizer and my product being pure bs hype worse than leds or somthing trash talk etc etc.... f'ing facists but if you google the words 'KG1' and 'Germinating paper mk3' together with a space im the sixtenth entry down on google right under 'KGs Foreign Meats Wholesalers'.

Be good to possibly get a review back like somthing i can print on my site maybe even if your photogenic some mild topless advertising with the product and a couple of drag queens dressedxas cops hancuffing you because this product is so good it should be illegal.

So yer let me know to put you down for a first order :-)

Which end do you consider pointy? The end that was attached to the mom becomes the hing and to my eye has a more flattened edge. The end that opens and the tap root sprouts from I'd consider more 'pointy"
