I've used the same nutes. For 5 years now. general hydroponics dry powder mix of grow and maxibloom shit works awesome and it's really simple to use the two products instead of 4 or 5 etc. .I just got a starter kit from dynagro from what I've read and learned is that majority of the time dry mixes are my prefered choice .just because who is to say that what ur paying for with liquid nutes is half waterodry mixes no guess work .but anyway I've also heard great things about dynagro mostly about there protekt and foliage pro products.. Protekt is good stuff from what i hear. The other 2 products I see people seen to like are megacrop and jacks (jr Peters ) of I were u I would use the jacks or the general hydroponics myselfand supplement with the protekt or some kind of silicon but to each his own just wanted to share my thoughts sorry for the book lol .. These plants and the one in my avatar all grown with general hydroponics grow And maxibloom 2 part system not saying by anymeans these are perfect or anything just using pic as reference .These plants have barely just got to 150 ppm when watering and there green and happy With it sorry diggs not trying Jack ur thread lol but good luck h.a.f with ur choice man View attachment 4295205
Thanks! I got the Nectar for the Gods sample pack. Think Star Wars Jedi-speak - "They are for sale if you want them"... Way too labor intensive, I don't care what the results are.
Here's some excerpts I got from the NftG Pres. about their stuff:

I think the dyna-gro stuff looks pretty simple. There are 6 products, but one is just for rooting at the beginning, and one is a flush. So its a veg, a bloom, and 2 other things. Microbes and amoeba's and shit I'm sure.

I have those Fox Farms crystals, so I agree on the dry-nutes things. Way easier to manage. I also have the FF grongo 3-part that calls for the 3 crystal nutes as well. I am trying that now, and it seems to be working (ditching their original trio)

Since I am now NOT going to try the NftG stuff I may order a small set of those powders and try that instead. They also have a "KoolBlooms" part of that series now. Tried it?

Forgot the e-mail:
1st one I asked if it was a basic feed-water-feed thing. I got this

Minimally we promote a feed water feed water etc……
But most tell us that when they feed more then water they get superior results.
Many do a feed, feed, compost tea (or microbial tea day) followed by a feed, feed, Herculean and pH’d water only.
Those who follow this method tell us that they get the most out of their nutrients and the microbe tea day and the herculean water days are their fresh water inputs.

I then asked "So what you are saying is that using less won't hurt, but using more will not produce nute-burn or other ill effects?" and got this reply along with a 114pg pdf of tips and tricks...

Like I said - way too labor intensive. It's almost like a cult...

I like a schedule because it gives me something to deviate from instead of just winging it ;)

NICE! OK, you see how all those beautiful bud leaves are pointing straight out and easy to get to? In a day you lose that option and they fold in around the bud. Some people leave them on, some trim now, some trim later - but if you are going to trim them green, that is the best time to do it. So much of what you have read will start to make sense now ;)

Playing on the safe side and using 15% instead of 20 since it's not trimmed up, 570g x .15 = 85.5g or 3oz.
20% would be 4oz.
I predict a full 3oz of what you eventually jar up, plus what you play with between now and then. :weed:

Ya i did a very loose trim on them and left all on stems, 20oz wet, im hoping for 3oz in jarrable weed for sure.

I expect the 3 other to yield better to be honest, especially fp1 and fp3.....atomic is smaller but that thing is packed from top to bottom, so she should also do well.

looks amazing! first harvest is so exciting.
Thanks bud, it was fun. Also more work than i expected lol

Tomorrow may be tough. depending on how dry the leaves felt when you chopped. I wouldn't worry about getting too close, but try to at least get the tips (and more if you can) off each one. It will allow it to dry more evenly having more plant innards exposed to air. The are also less likely to curl up and keep buds from drying evenly.

I need to figure out why my stock and stems were all so small, i think that hurt my yield aswell, comparing to other growers, mine were real small and thin

Gonna have to find out what @Renfro is using to get those tree trunks, bigger roots bigger fruits and all that stuff.

Now that you see what you're in for, you'll come up with short-cuts. For me, when I have finally decided to harvest
I try to snip all the big fan stems off while she's still standing if that helps.
I go ahead and start pruning them a few days in advance of the chop so it's not one big chore on chop day.

I had them with the last plants, this crop not so much. To be honest, last grow I beat the hell out of the plants with lower lights and stronger nutes. The plant overall looked poor, but the return was much better. Maybe that is the trick?
