Looking to blackout a bred room with windows, does anybody have a recommendation for a cheap roll of blackout material or what do other people use to blackouts a window? Thanks!

I like triple protection , blind , black out fabric, panda film on top.
Its the thought that a blind may malfunction and show the outside world the panda film and give the game away that makes me extra cautious.

With no intent to convey ridicule, I found this humorous. Only the fact that I found myself imagining scenarios that may actually cause blind malfunction. Like maybe a spring in the mechanism rusts until it fails, from elevated RH levels...
No measure is too extreme when it comes to maintaining covert levels of cultivation.

I’ve always used drywall.

Blinds > shitrock(white side facing blinds/outdoor) > panda film.

The shitrock adds some sound deadening and although it has very little R-value, it helps a little to prevent consensation on window. Plywood adds an even tiny tiny bit more R-value than drywall.

Of course you want to start with some tight fitting blinds. If existing blinds aren’t really all that tight fitting you can add curtain fabric before drywall, but just a sheet of rock usually does it. But whatever you do, don’t use vinyl mini-blinds go with aluminum. The 2” pvc faux wood blinds usually hold up decent over the years, but not as good as aluminum mini-blinds, but a heck of allot better than vinyl mini blinds. Did I mention not to use vinyl mini blinds.

I'll never forget the light leak I had long before legalization! Back in the early 90s came home drunk from some bar in the middle of the night and at some point the duct tape had pulled away and the black plastic was hanging from the top third of my window, it was black as night out and there's the brightness of the sun shining out of my second-floor window!! lol I nearly shit myself, sobered up damn quick
