Been growing for a few years now in promix..hand watering every 3 or 4 days ..I kinda feel like a caveman lol..is there an easy way to automate it a bit?

I just don't trust automation that much unless it's hydro or perhaps coco. I want make sure the plants are ready for watering and they change how often they need water as they go thru life.

But you can take your kids with you and go places. Shit, thats fucking fun!

you don't get out much do you? lol

Unfortunately, more than I prefer lol. Going roller skating tonight. Great haha.
When I was a bit younger girls were not allowed to wear pants at school. Dresses only and they would make the girls kneel on the bleachers to make sure the dress touched the bleacher seat.

The roller skating rink! No such stupidity. We used to go a lot. They used to be a thing.

Still are a thing depending on where you live lol.

I grow in peat and don’t see a practical automated watering system. Too many variables with the weather. Even indoors.

What do you think of hempy buckets? It's not automated, but I can stretch 2 days without watering. Or there's the Kratky method lol. Takes your peat out of the equation though.

Middle School every Friday night

Haven't used them before, but in theory Blumats would be a practical choice wouldn't they? Set the desired moisture level, and forget about it.
