It's the other stuff that he brings that scares me. His marijuana "permission" position is only good when measured against worse prohibitionists, which doesn't excuse his other bad choices.
He doesn't believe people should run their own lives and thinks he can run it better for them....and he's willing to use a gun to back up his ideas, even his ideas of gun confiscation.

I would like to think I make a difference even if it is only one life.
Brainwash ??? how ? By assuring they attend school and make passing grades ? Showing them that life can get better no matter the crap you going against now ? Lending an ear when someone needs to talk ? Showing up when invited to see them play or perform ? Help guide them to college, tech , military once completing high school or obtaining a GED ? Please explain how they are being brainwashed. or do you prefer them to be future drop outs, drug dealers, thief's or prostitutes ?

I have hired youth who wish to work for the summer/weekend. I have never served stolen oranges, but have treated for meals on several occasions. Just taught a kid how to drive because his mom suffers from Myelomenigocele. Went from breaking into homes and failing school to getting ready for prom and offered a football scholarship...because someone believed in him and took the time to hear his pain. Kids should not have to deal with adult problems
