Yes but like mentioned you will have small plants. I suggest increasing feeds a little bit (ive never used the lucas formula) and increase the waterings per day as to allow the coco to be treated like a hydroponic medium. If you treat coco like soil you will get soil results.

I read on another post that 1ml of 1% solution to a gal worked out to 2.654 ppm

So 1ml to 4 litre comes out at N10 P21 K18

Really N10 P9 K15
As P is only 43%
And K is 84%

There is also 30 ppm N in my tap

So if all is correct at 1mil gal it would be
N40 P9 K15
im using 3ltrs not a gal so concentration would be abit higher but doesnt seem anywhere near what could cause salt buildup

If anything they are majorly underfed

I checked on them today and the one i upped nutes on seemed much more perky leaves where not drooping like the one that was still on low feed.. so i have upped nutes on that one aswell now

3mil to a gal would be N60 P27 K47

Will be more as not using a gal but still very low

hahahahaha! yeah, nobody ever grew anything nice in coco ever. ever. this site is so lucky to have such a know-everything grower such as yourself.

now that you've enlightened me, i can switch away from this blasted coco and actually grow some nice flowers! :clap:

@Mrherbal i have run coco for a while now and would be happy to answer any questions you have. unlike some, i won't shit all over you for being new and trying something.

Never had any problems with coco. Never grew in soil before. I just keep my PH bang on 6.1 and never had any issues. When I'm giving full nutrients I only give 85% of the full dose alow my pots to dry out and water. Stick with that and you will never run into problems .

I would water less often. I know people say its hard to over water coco, the reason for this is coco is less dense than soil and doesn't clot as much. Still weather you are in coco, soil or something else roots need aeration. I am new to cannabis but in most gardening people's problem tend to be lack of consistency or too much water. Coco's not very different from moss, let it dry out some before watering.

Au contraire, mon frere...coco is VERY different from moss. peat wicks up water and holds it, and you have to treat it nore or less like soil, allowing it to dry between waterings. Coco has a straw-like cellular structure, that draws oxygen in when it absorbs water...until you absolutely overflow coco and don't allow it to drain, watering it only draws more oxygen into the roots...as long as water is passing through it, so is oxygen.

i would recommend a little, you don't have to go crazy, but you could easily increase your yield by 15-20% just by tying your lateral branches down a little so they get more light, the buds that form against the stem when growing vertically will stand up and make themselves into little mini colas if the branch they are on is tied down a little and given enough light.

To be honest I just defoliate and hang 300w cfls down the sides for the last 4 weeks I avarge around 8-10oz a plant. I tried training a few times and It just didn't work out for me. I like having 8 plants in the room I get a good yeild from the way I do it. When I have trained I the past I can only get 5 plants In and get less yeild overall. So I get more from the 8 but less yeild per plant. Just the way I've always done it. thanks for the advice tho. Happy growing.

that's a valid point. i'm a little concerned with plant count where i am, trying to stay out of the major penalty range...so i try to get a little more off of a few less...when i grew outside i went for the trees, inside, it's got to be shrubs.
