Yes it works perfectly fine in Dwc. Experience is better than guess work. Sorry to sound like an arse hole but we're talking dwc not coco. You don't top your res up with full strength nute mix, you top it up to desired ppm. That way you replenish what the plant has used.

id rather use a product that's quarter the price that is much easier to use and gives me the same end result. and i only grow dwc now. grow coca for like 2 grows in the past before i decided it was shit . once you grow dwc you'll never grow coca again

Yes I changed the nutrients last night to perfect ph and added a reservoir to check ph and ppm also started ppm @ 750 with a 20/4 schedule. day 34 I think..they looked alittle better today.Thankyou hydroforlife and everyone else

I have 2 bubble stone in 5 gallaon bucket so I would think plenty of co2

1 is sufficient, too much air can shock them. I run rdwc and have a pressure regulation valve plugged in to my air pump bank just to assure I don't over power the roots. Usually in dwc leaves pointing down means over water(water level too high) too much air, or water Temps.

Try dropping your ph down a bit more. Hydro ph off the top of my head should be between 5.5 - 6 with 5.7 to 5.8 being ideal. And yes get your ppm to where you want it then ph your water. And I always found my ph would rise unless I had root issues then it would drop and thats when i would panic lol.

This is close. 5.5-6.5 is the range for hydro and swings are good. Different nutrients are uptake at different ranges. I usually aim for 5.8 when adjusting and don't touch again unless it goes below 5.7 or. Above 6.3

Yoi DO NOT want to chase ph every day all day. Adding ph up and down constantly is no good.

I removed one of the air stone last night maybe 2 much air ? Also changed to advanced nutrients half strength 750ppm for my auto's, little cocern of the ph @ 6.2 should I worry.

My plant drinks 3 liters in 24 hrs. adding so much water changes my ph constantly, so I hope changing to advanced perfect ph helps that. So I don't need to ph water.

No you don't! Trust me. Totally Ignore ph for now. Just keep topping up with water and keeping ppm at 750 if your happy with that ppm. If you find your plants aren't up taking any nutes (You keep topping water up and ppm at 750ppm) then do a bucket change with fresh water/nutes. I usually do this for 10 days then do a bucket change out.

Just be careful removing air. You don't have a pump to keep water moving like you do in rdwc. Having plenty of bubbles helps reduce risk of root rot and keeps your nute solution well stirred up. In my experience you want LOTS of little bubbles as the little bubble aireate the water better. If you don't have enough oxygen to the roots, plant growth will slow down.

Yes you don't want all of your roots fully submerged. With seedlings you want the water level about 1/4" below the root crown. During flower about 1/4-1/2" below netpot. It's cool if they eat a lot. You just gotta keep giving them more!

Also your probably better to find out flow of grow2019s air pump before telling him to remove an airstone. That could be dangerous advice if you ask me.

That's possibly true. I wasnt saying for sure he has too much air I was just saying it can be possible. I had a 960gph pushing 4 buckets and if I didn't open one extra valve it made the water too turbulent in the buckets.

Well you're just an anominloy contradicting everything I say. Ask any other DWC or RDWC prerson and they will tell you not to fully submerge your roots you absolutely CAN overwater in dwc. You can check with CCH2O as well as Alien Hydroponics and both companies will confirm to not fully submerge roots
