help me set this up

Setup acquired
Vivosun 5x5 tent
Big kahuna 600 watt reflector
Digital greenhouse ballast
Hydrofarm 400 watt
One 150 watt led
One inline fan (cheap)
One carbon filter
I have grown 8 times before but not a setup this size. Worried about temps

Sorry I'm not from the US. And go by degrees Celsius. But I figure its fairly cool at the moment....? Something I did to keep things cool is use the fan to exhaust air out (in a high corner as heat rises) and in the opposite corner at ground level i set up some ducting to outside with a cut out piece of my mrs stockings as a filter to keep bugs out and sucked in the cool air. I set mine up so the cool air would be drawn through my plants (also pulling fresh co2 through them) and it worked good throughout the cooler months. Only issue was that I didn't have a good control of daytime and night time temps. The only way you will do this is with an air con unit.

I put the light in today. Temps are about 77 with no ventilation (yet)
Ventilation is the part I've never done. I've only done 1-2 plant grows
Nice Johnny! Ventilation is very simple and very important. Just mount your fan and scrubber filter up high. And open up one of the vent holes in the tent (preferably in the opposite corner and down low) so the exhaust fan has somewhere to draw the air from. Some people use ducting and run it to where they want to draw fresh air from depending on setup. If temps are too cold then you may need a heater. Oil heaters are usually good as most of them have built in thermostat and wont burn the tent down if it falls. Hope this helped!?

How many CFM is your blower?

It's always good to setup your equipment and let it run for a day or two and monitor the conditions to make sure you are good to go.

If you have a way to keep the room your tent is in cool enough you can exchange the volume of your tent 2 times a minute and that will keep it cool. If the room it's in heats up then you will loose the ability to properly cool the tent. In this case you can either get your intake air from another cooler source or you can air condition the room.

The room heats up quick from home heater so I imagine central ac would work well. It gets about 80+ at the canopy but with the extraction fan on (300 ish cfm) it gets to low or mid 70s. This is just from 400 watt mh. I'm adding the 600 later

As renfro said, you can intake from another cooler source. Like 6" ducting to window with window slightly open if its cool outside...? Also dependant on the length of ducting and power of your extraction fan to create enough negative pressure in your tent plus pull the air in through your length of ducting. Also you may draw in more humidity from outside? Could be good enough until you get an a/c unit??
