2 x 4 Tent Looks a Little Full

This is my first indoor grow and the plants are really filling out my 2 x 4 x 5 high tent. Two of my plants are 12 inches high and two are about 18 inches from the top of the pots, the pots are 12 inches high. One pot has two plants in it.
They are in the 8th week from seed & I switched to 12/12 last week. The strain is supposed to be Acapulco Gold, I'm using 3 x 600 watt Philizon led lights set at 12 inches above the canopy, Pro Mix, Advanced Nutrients PH Balanced & Reverse Osmosis Water. The par output at 12 inches according to the manufacturer should be approximately 1500 umol/m2 S using 3 lamps. I did do some Lst training, bending, and topping in the 4th week. I'm hoping they will only double in size when flowering. If the they triple I think I will run out of tent space.

I could just let them grow and see if the current tent size is adequate, buy a taller 4 x 4 x 80 tent, or take one of the plants out to give more room to the other two.

What do you think ?

How much more can you raise your lights? If your already a week since flip it looks like you will be fine. And on behalf of everyone here, I thank you for turning the blurples off for the pictures.

Thanks for the quick reply, I can move my lights up about 19 inches if I fasten them to the cross bar directly. I did bend the tops of the taller plants this morning but they looked very unhappy staring at the walls of the tent.

Go Leafs !!

Why 2 in 1 pot?
I read that 3 plants would be the right amount for a tent this size but the seeds came in packs of 4.
There was 4 seeds in the pack and they all germinated so I put 2 plants in one pot. I think I will try 2 plants on the next grow.

Hey , I'm starting my first grow soon . What kind of Promix are you using ?
Pro mix HP. I bought it at the local grow store. Pro mix holds the water very well & I think it would be easy to over water If I wasn't careful. I'm giving them a liter of water and nutrients daily now, more or less. Weeks 5 & 6 was maybe a half liter a day, based on how wet the soil was from the previous watering. I did give them a good soak until the soil in the drain holes were damp last week & they seemed to like that.

I was leaning towards the HP after reading more about it . Did you amend it at all e.g more perlite , worm casting , anything like that ?

I was planning on using Advanced Nutrients so I didn't amend the Pro Mix. What information did you find on using organic fertilizers with Pro mix for indoor growing ?

Not much tbh . A lot of people mix in more perlite for better aeration. Theres so much info out there but alot of it non specific . I think I'm going to go the organic super soil way after a few grows and when the weather turns nice so I can brew some up .

I'm also in a 2x4 and think I'm going with 2 plants next run also lol they dont just go up during the stretch they will fill out also get ready for some pruning to get some airflow through them dont want to risk powdery mildew or mold
The first pic is the first day of flip and the others are after the stretch.... they grow up so fast.

Those babies are looking really good Juiceifer !! I'm curious about your strain, lights and growing medium etc.

I'm kinda in the don't defoliate camp, or minimal defoliation at least, but, as you say, in these small tents pruning may be a necessary requirement. That being said, I have been mindlessly pruning the lower sections the last couple of days, It must be just human nature to remove unhealthy leafs and growth eh. Today was the 8th day since the switch , two plants grew 2 inches vertical & two grew 6 inches vertically, genetic variation maybe, or the seed stock wasn't consistent.

I can believe people add perlite, the stuff feel really dense & compacted, I've be tempted to break out the chop sticks and do some manual aeration.

I've read some people using 30 perlite 20 worm casting and 50 promix hp ..i may try that . I'm hoping my light will be adequate ..now I'm not feeling so confident . I'll be growing 3-4 mephisto autos , leaning towards 3
