if you have purple phenotypes in your strain and you wanna bring them out, rather than fucking with your lighting, just bring in a portable AC, and put it on blast, or make it blow strong enough to cool down your temps ALOT. the change in the "weather" will bring out the purple in your plant, kinda like the changing of the leaf colors in the fall. youll wanna bring the temps down to like 55-60 for about a week to simulate the beginning of fall.

I keep my night temps @ 65f my skunk and cush both get nice and purple it seems to tighten the buds too

I've got a plant outside still in canada and it started turning purple in september sometime...it is now purple as hell cause of the cold.It looked completely green before.

I've heard of lowering temerature to turn the buds purple I don't recomend it unless you have a purple strain you wana bring out me I got five supposedly purple youngins in my basement and once I find out whose male and female and start budding them I think I will try the ac trick. my buddy said the bud which was grown outdoors was purple covered with white crystals. I got mine indoors but that will just make the bud better. cant wait to start cloning. all tho since his were out doors mabee the cold made them purple. but purple=$$$$$$$$$$$$$
