A can't see how a filter on the intake would help, better to set any additional filter up as a scrubber with it's own fan, now that would really knock down the odor in the tent and make the exhaust filters job easy peasy.
Be careful venting warm humid air into the attic, in cold weather it will condense on the bottom of the plywood sheeting and cause black mold. Not a good time.
Ahh that makes more sense lol, not a bad idea at all. I still think a scrubber would be more effective tho.
Hmm i wonder about that. I don't see why that would pose a problem. Got me wondering now, maybe I am missing something.
I just mean a carbon filter hooked to a fan sitting in the tent, sucking air from the tent thru the filter and just blowing it back in the tent. This just keeps re-filtering the air in the tent and really kills odor bigtime.
I blow through mine. No problems no smell. I was sucking through it at one point but it was too cumbersome to hang it in the tent. Removed it to free up space and now blow through the filter outside the tent instead. Works the same. Although I think mine is starting to clog up even though it’s only a few months old. It’s Vivosun canister, they do not do well with humidity. They clog really quickly. My try a better brand when this one shits the bed.
I have a 39x39 with 3 plants in flower right now using a 4 inch carbon filter to suck all the air from my tent through it and out to the room, these is 0 smell. Make sure you have your exhaust pulling enough air that your tent creates a negative pressure (makes the tent walls bow inwards) if you don't do this a lot fo smelling air will escape through the cracks and it'll be like you don't have a filter and just reek
Yeah had already thought of that this is a temporary solution until I get my C02 equipment lights and AC have wiped out the funds. Also since it’s warming up outside I figured it would be okay for a couple months.
