Yes. I’m applyingbpaste under the boards and then screwing them down. The consensus a few pages back was that was a good idea or conductivity and longevity of the strips. You're running strips and you're gonna paste em?
Have fun. I haven’t done squat. I’m not shre when my paste is coming. And that’s the last piece to my puzzle sadly. I was gonna use the u channel but damn they were a pretty penny. Opted for just the sheet. My parts came in today. Picked up aluminum u channel. Will start putting the frame together this weekend pictures soon to follow
Have you tried heatsinkusa? It's like 4 dollars per 25 inch pieceHave fun. I haven’t done squat. I’m not shre when my paste is coming. And that’s the last piece to my puzzle sadly. I was gonna use the u channel but damn they were a pretty penny. Opted for just the sheet.
I got my sheet already. My boards have been mounted. And holes drilled waiting on my thermal paste to put under the strips before I fire em up.Have you tried heatsinkusa? It's like 4 dollars per 25 inch piece
Looking good bro! I’m still waiting on my thermal paste. Apparently it’s been lost in the mail. I’m itching to get mine up and running. It’s literally just waiting for the paste.Light is finished, just need to wait for a few dabs of silicone to dry that is sealing up the boxes and open solder pads. Clones go in tomorrow! Very exciting. Pics showing it running 9 lights. I have a switch on top that shuts off 6 lights for seedling. The switch box also contains all the wireing ends all nice and hidden away. All wires that run close to other wires or grounded frames all have additional covers. To protect from any potential voltage leakage risk. Rather than extending the power cable I just added a plug end and added a gfci box directly on the device so I have an extra outlet and a bit of extra protection and this forces the gfci to go with it.
I was going to use that tape. Instead I went hvac screws to secure the strips and thermal paste under the strips.
