Ok so growing autos for years now, and when i started i read ''somewhere'' that being auto they would only need half the amount of nutes, so ive been feeding 10ml of biogrow and biobloom for every 2 litres of water, but now im thinking about it again because im 3 weeks away at least from chop and im already seeing yellowing of the fan leaves.
This always happens and has never seemed to affect the smoke, but now im thinking maybe it could be improved ?

So i figured i would put it on here for the more experienced people to help me with !

many thanks guys.

I've had auto strains that could tolerate the same feeding as photo's...do you grow in soil, coco, or hydroponics?
I feed my autos the same as photos, though i might only wven feed around 1000 ppms. I don't test but i use H3ads modified lucas for coco. 6 ml Micro, 9 ml bloom and 2 ml cal mag per gal. I feed 1/4 till firat real set of leaves than 1/2 for 2-3 feedings and than full by 21 days. Never any yellowing.

I do my feeding the exact same way as you, I rarely if ever exceed 1000ppm either!

i do not understand ppm, i use a syringe and i pull 10mm of each from the bottles they come in, lol its all ive ever done, it worked for me since i started and ive never bothered to do anything different.

You really don't NEED to measure ppm's...most applications work just fine just using the bottle as a reference point. I only do ppm's because I'm in hydroponics and it makes life a bit easier :)

i also didnt want to over complicate things, lol do you think adding another 5 mm would be acceptable ?

Get one of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079DN9DRS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

When you water your plants dip the probe in the run off water in the saucer under the pot. If it isn't deep enough tilt the saucer to get a deeper pool, or pour the runoff into a cup. The probe will give you a reading in PPM. One ppm is equivalent to 1 milligram of something per liter of water (mg/l) or 1 milligram of something per kilogram soil (mg/kg)

You can also watch the leaf tips for burn. If you step up the amount of nutes and it looks like you might have overdone it just flush the palnt in the sink by using the faucett sprayer function. Using the probe you'll eventually find a sweet spot.

There also isn't really anything wrong with leaves starting to yellow 3 week before chop, but keeping healthy leaves means better photosynthesis and therefore healthier and bigger buds.
