Haven't found another thread on here for RSC, so here's a quick post on my experience. I bought a few packs off seedsman of sinai, parvarti, and nanda devi. Started the Sinai thinking it could be a cool landrace. I used 1gal cloth pots and prob let them get too dry, but the males all started flowering so I threw them in a tent under 11/13 led and flowered them all out to make seeds. After mentioning it to them on ig, they updated their site to include info that they might auto flower. Started with sulfur smells, now they are more of a fruity smell. I took a tester bud off the bottom the other day, cleared out the seeds and smoked it for a test after it dried. Great super clear sativa get stuff done like high. I'm not an auto guy and am a little bummed for growing these in place of something else, but this could be fun. Will try growing these again one day and will hand these out to local shops for giveaway autos. I'll post a cure and smoke report later on too. This pic was from 8wks.

Any update?

I just received some Sinai seeds from The Real Seed Company. I got them specifically because they are fast flowering and their potential for day neutral flowering. I also got the Nandi Devi, Kerala, and Highland Thai.

I just went back and ordered every one of their strains that wasn't already sold out. I just had to have them for my collection.

I harvested all 3 females a couple weeks ago (9weeks) and have them drying a little longer, plus I'm procrastinating a little lol.

Your post got me at a good time....right when I got home about to smoke a bowl. So I stopped typing after the first sentence and broke up the bud from #7 and tried to get most of the seeds out for a quick little smoke test.

Immediately it brought me back to high school, busting out the seeds and then sifting through them on a file folder to make the seeds slip down. Ahhh, the good old days. Sinsemilla is so much nicer! Back on track....smoked a bowl and it's a great sativa high that's makes your head feel light like it's floating almost. Taste is not that good and tastes like salvia actually, but might have to do with some premature seeds still in the bowl. I haven't finished the bowl yet and am a little tweaked out by the high. Jitters in my fingers it's an electric buzz. Hash made with this could be super potent.

I wasn't thrilled about the auto plant, but I'm glad I grew this out. It's a unique plant and high, plus it's much stronger than I imagined it would be as an auto. Glad I made a ton of seeds to pass out too :) Maybe I'll pop the Nanda Devi in the next few months.

Just an update on some of my Real Seed Company stock. I just popped some Mazar-I-Sharif. Out of a pack of twelve I popped six. Just straight into soil, watered them in and they all came up within four days. I just gave two to a friend and I'll grow out the other four. I want both males and females since I want to make more seeds and save some pollen for other crosses. My friend will grow his out regardless of sex so between the two of us and six plants it should work out. I'm planning on doing some extensive training and flowering them rather small since they can get up to 4 meters. Looks like a great strain to grow outdoors where you don't have size limitations. But indoors in a tent is another story. On the webpage for this strain they have an outdoor grown plant that was grown here in Oregon. Most likely southern Oregon which is also close to the same longitude and altitude as the region the strain came from. The strain gets pretty large.

3x Sinai F2, gender reveal was 8-9 weeks ago under 18/6 but they did about 3/4 of that under 12/12.
One definitely has an explosion of foxtailing. They have just started showing pink/red pistels but not uniform across the whole plant. One was always somewhat stunted but has made a decent top for itself on the 3rd image.

These are just sharing a 4ft high 2x2 in 20 gallons or so of living soil mix & 4x blumat drippers. I pollinated one branch of the 1st image with TRSC Iranian, which was yellowing so just chopped it. seeds are all mature, still as small as the previous generations. scraped enough for a one pot of finger hash while sifting the seeds.

Lights are cutter strips, 5k optisolis and some broad spectrum red that do 630-750nm or so. And a 30w supplementary strip of 3w epileds - 2x uv 395, 4x far red 740, 2x 840 IR, 1x 420 purple, 1x 440 royal blue. I don't think the extra strip makes a huge amount of difference but it certainly doesn't hurt.

Thanks for starting this thread! I've got 3x Tirah just above the soil so hopefully they do well. I was starting seedlings in a new brand of coir biochar mix which looked great on paper but had everything turning out stunted. switched and everything seems a lot happier now and can get on with things. I actually didn't even soak these 3 Tirah as an experiment, just popped them in and 6 days later they are all up.

The last photo is not sourced from The Real Seed Company, it's a northern Afghanistan, I'm guessing possibly Balkh region, gifted by the author of Afghanistan: Fortress of Cannabis who has contributed some photography to TRSC website.
Loaded up with TRSC Iranian pollen, day 37 from showing sex. The seeds were the biggest I had ever seen so couldn't help myself trying to preserve that.

I'm glad you posted. I'm interested to see how the Sinai turns out as I have some of those seeds.

Happy Growing

Same, there's not been documentation from what I've seen.
From what I've read about Iranian culture personal domestication seems to be quite widespread with a relaxed attitude socially and probably unaffected by western cultivars. Modern day Khorasan being a largely an agricultural area of north eastern Iran and just over the border from the likes of Balkh I imagine they have traded a few seeds over the last few decades/centuries.

The Iran male looked like it had potential. It had a pretty hard life as i was dealing with some root munching mites in my last space but pushed through it all over the course of a few months and eventually got flowered out in a 1.5gallon. I only got a 5 pack and don't think I have any left.

I think this is probably the last photo I kept of it. Responded well to topping. The seedling was very broad leafleted in it's first couple of nodes followed by a bigger internodal spacing than I expected.

Got a couple of freebies still. Johaar, Hawaiian Hashbud and Manipuri. I try to avoid throwing money at seeds these days as I really have more seeds than I'd be able to explore myself but fascinating landraces still manage to get me!
The potential for day neutral/auto traits was never really offputting for me as everything stays quite small anyway. I don't know if this would still be the case with the likes of thai or south indian NLD types but photoperiod induced flowering does seem to work so far for the domesticated accessions available from Pakistan and Afghanistan. The real danger is probably hermaphrodites but I ain't spotted any so far.
Sinai didn't reveg after the clone rooted/take to a new pot well so that's why I was eager to pollen chuck it. I have little experience with autos but would assume that's normal behaviour under 18/6 or 16/8.

Really glad to see some interest on here. Thanks folks!

Yeah well i was thinking the iranian supposedly being a high yielder it might be worth working with for breeding tbh but if it smokes special itself then thats a bonus. that male looks short n stout too thanks for the reply

Here's some Parvati shots. Took cuts from this plant and it had about 4 tops, threw it outside (Oklahoma) in May into straight red clay, no dirt to be found, and she did great only adding water. Harvested a branch a few days ago. Super light whispy buds that has a woody smell after curing a few days. Spicy taste and the smoke hits hard with a super fast head rush that will make you want to hold on like a roller coaster. Some plants did great with bugs/weather, but this one was exceptional. Even forgot about it a few times and neglected it. Still came out like a champ. If you want weed you can just plant and water, this is it. Not great yields, but grow enough of them and you're set, as long as you don't care about bag appeal. These landrace (ish - Ibls) are pretty no-nonsense plants you should definitely try one in the back yard sometime if you can.

What day of flower is that?
Day 48 I think. I think in theory it should be another 4 weeks or so? I keep a close eye on them and pick em when I see all the trichs are cloudy and there starts to be a bit of amber. But, I don't have experience with a straight sativa so we'll see.
In fact I pollinated her with a very sweet, very resinous afghani I had pollen saved from, and probably now have around 20 - 30 nice seeds. I'm going to experiment with crossing old classic landraces I can find with more modern hybrid strains.
