When to flower?!

I was wondering as it's my first grow, when to flip to flowering ?? She's 5 weeks old and topped she recovered here's pics

Yeah definitely don’t stop growing as I could be wrong and I’m praying I am. But all the males I have always grown bulge on this lines 9DA4057B-4614-4CE3-B731-3EDE3DE34100.jpeg

It’s not common knowledge And I’m sure people will say that’s no way to sex a plant but so far I haven’t been wrong. Do you have any pre flowers?

just a quick picture to help you. The plant on the left is female notice the stalk has lines but isn’t bulging out? The plant on the left being male the stalk has lines that bulge out.

Can’t tell yet. Is it a fem seed or regular? I wouldn’t switch to 12/12 for another couple weeks depending on how much space you have.

I’m going to say male because of the stalk and there is no signs of pre flowers and at 5 weeks old should have some. I’d say post your pictures in general marijuana growing and ask what everyone thinks.

Definitely no way tell if male or female off the stalk alone. Females tend to show later just a heads up. I have two females right now with stalks that look identical to yours just sayin

Do you have pictures of those stalks just for my own reference?
 
You could flower now but i'd personally let it veg for a 2-4 more weeks. Also i can't tell the sex on it so i don't think its male like someone said.
 
The reason the female in the book doesn't look like its bulging, and the male does, is primarily because of the lighting. The female pic is over exposed and appears to be taken with a flash, washing out the shadows. The male pic is a better exposure, and the shadows are more accentuated.
