Where do you guys get your empty ccell carts from? How much usually? I just had a bad run with some crappy ebay TH205 clones. Every single one leaked after a full pulls. Finally bought a legit cart and worked perfectly. It's hard to know what's out there sometimes.

When I leave town and she's taking care of plants. She's always calling asking what to do. I like giving her shit, so I tell I've already told her about all this. She needs to be taking notes.... I don't know how she puts up with me, lol.
I put cameras in my grow tents so i dont need to use my wife to check plants.lol. just to add water when i start seeing them wilt.lol

Hi all. As an author of a sizable thread myself I know better than to start asking questions before reading every page. I sympathize with people who think a thread is too long and have the urge to jump right in asking questions, however, if everyone read through it first the length would be considerably less anyway. Thread bloat is self perpetuating. I've been taking notes and want to thank everyone for the information and progress reports. So very helpful.

I find myself in a similar situation as others. I have a small comfortable operation where I provide a better product for a better price to a small circle of ppl. Non-legal state. About a year ago black market carts came to town, and, well, things aren't so comfortable anymore. I was, however, simultaneously delighted and horrified to learn that the brand of cart everyone smokes, Dank Vapes, doesn't exist. It's just people filling them with whatever they decide using who knows which process. This explains why the cart my buddy mailed me from Vegas tasted amazing (candyland) while the carts around here taste like perfume. Not bad, but not weed or anything readily identifiable. Sweet, floral and generic. Grape ape, fruity pebbles, sour D...they all taste the same to me. And it takes about 5 hits before I feel a head change. I've never hit one beyond that because I've never bought one myself. Just tried everyone else's. Yet, ppl buy these things, $40-50 per ml, and rave about the "different" flavors and never once mention anything about how high they get. I've noticed everyone who has one also wants some dry herb in their pocket for when they need a good stone, they just don't want as much or as often. So obviously there is an opportunity here. If I can make a comparable product that tastes good and actually has some potency dank vapes won't seem so dank.

So I find myself not just needing to turn my product into a vapable form, but also needing to mimic the color and consistency of the street carts. They seem to be relatively well made. It's a dark-golden/amber color and very very thick like chilled molasses. I grow old school ak47 x critical mass, so the potency will be there. Mainly I just need to make something safe and effective and proper.

I am starting with bubble hash sifted to below 120. I plan to dissolve in ethanol, winterize, and slow purge for now. I will of course buy proper equipment once I move on from the development stage and onto streamlining. As a science communicator I fully understand that the quality of the product depends on the quality of the process. After purging I want to mix with a liquidizer at hopefully 2:1gm. Again, I need to do this while maintaining a thick consistency and amber color. I realize the color is largely dependent on the harvest time of the trichs. I'm ok there as long as the process doesn't change it. From what this thread has taught me, winterization is the key to maintaining color when going this route.

I have been taking notes on the proper temps and mixing methods, but as this is all just abstract in my head at this point I have some confusion. These carts will be going into standard low-temp pens, which makes me think I need to decarb. If so, at what stage is best? Should I do it just after dissolving the full melt into ethanol but before winterizing, or should I do it just before diluting with liquidizer? And since I will be winterizing, can I use the yield from the 160-120 range of my bubble, or should I keep it below 120 and start as clean as I can? And, of course, I'm interested in everyone's estimation of how many carts can be processed per let's say 10g of bubble at 2:1.

Once again I appreciate everyone sharing their knowledge. When I needed to do this I knew rollitup would have a thread with great people who know wtf their doing. It's the best way to get from here to there.

DH gate!

It's where 90% of tour vape shops, head shops , and us (cart makers) get our carts from.

Buy in bulk for better savings. I buy max of 400 at a time. Any more than that, and the china factory asshat will toss in a bunch of reject leaky carts with the good ones.

Its how we do it.

Just tested out a new c cell k knockoff with my new recipe. Feedback is A+ vs previous types of carts used and formulas/recipes.

Potency directly relates to the ratio at which you mix. That's the single biggest factor, how much oil per ml.

Id use starting material from below 160.

The higher temp I purged at the runnier my product was. So with making flowable pens I purged with heat on purpose. The fact that they are being vaporized means decarboxilation has occurred and thus decarbing prior to use isn't necessary.

I'm going to try using dry ice instead of ice water. In the past when I tried dry ice it worked very fast and easily, but there was a lot more fine particulate in the final product too (depending on agitation duration). So this time I'm going to use a cold temp butane bath/soak to then further purify the contaminated raw produced by the dry ice method. This way I'll use less butane and theoretically collect all my trich's easier.

Yup
Mario cart packaging for .43 each when buying in bulk. So your shot cart will sell for 2x the norm in a BS made package.

go figure

I'll gladly stick to my OWN made brand packaging and my own distillate I make myself and lab test

Yeah I had to show a guy some blister packs from online. To show him That way he was buying from someone else was truly not legitimate and or tested. My shits not tested either but I know I didn’t put anything in it bad. So I sleep at night
