Dr GreenThumb Gorilla Glue#4

Ok I grew out Greenthumb Turkish Cookies, Sour Diesel and have journals for that, every single one of those seeds has been sprouted and harvested, 100% germination..

I received my gorilla glue seeds at the end of november and have gone through 6 seeds so far and have had only One germination... Two others actually germinated, one after 3-4 weeks finally popped and died, the other popped after multiple weeks and also immediatly died...

I emailed greenthumb, he told me im too wet, damp but not wet...

Sigh, I worked with seeds for 20 years and I am the last to jump on the clone train.. I got pissed so I went to my fridge and busted out 15 year old south african durban poison blueberry I made dated 2005.. Dropped a bunch in two cups and 6 days later I have a forest...

Sigh...Despite this I been through the Ringer with seed banks and totally stopped buying seeds years ago until I tried greenthumb... The quality and stability of his genetics between one seed and the next is extremly stable.

I have tried tons of fancy names on attitude, I have tried their top sellers and have all the packages from the last 20 years to prove it.. Everyone 90% was shit, including the fancy names on the freebies.. I did find a couple of nice ones, not worth the trouble finding them or the money paying for them...

I got pissed again and went against my own counsil and ordered greenpoint seeds, planted two eagle scouts, both sprouted..

I have 5 seeds left of gorilla glue and basically I have no faith in having another sprout, im afraid to plant them...

Well here is my only gorilla glue(aka I call it my $150 plant) I should have 6 of them but this is the one I have...Im hoping this one is the bomb and I will have no more gripes..

Dam, that's gotta hurt. They are trying to say it's your fault? At the price they charge for seed's, you would think that they would be happy to replace them, just to keep a customer. Not everyone is able to pay for seed's. I would try to keep all the customer's I could get, if I could get 20 bucks a seed. This is my biggest fear about ordering seed's online, sorry for your luck, hope you at least clone her and she turns out spectacular.

I don't know man. You just couldn't resist the urge to shit on Attitude Seedbank when they had nothing to do with this purchase.

Attitude has been a long time pillar of the marijuana industry. Solid genetics and fearless marketing and operations. Not legal where you live? Let me hide these seeds in this cheap hat. That's some ballsy customer service.

I firmly believe if you would've bought your seeds at Attitude and this happened - they would've offered up a freebie with a next purchase, or maybe outright replaced them only charging the shipping...... sure as shit would not have blamed you. I had 2 instances of attitude seeds not arriving and they re-shipped I only paid the re-shipping. I didn't get excuses or 'well customs grabbed them you have to re-purchase' - It was a 'sorry that happened, here's what we can do'... and a solution was offered. They're exceptional and growers across the world agree.....

Yet you go to Dr Greenthumb, who charges more than double market rate for seeds, rather poor customer service post-sale attention, and zero guarantee and you turn it around on Attitude. Not their fault you're purchasing over-priced seeds from a re-seller.

My suggestion: get the Royal Queen Seeds Gorilla. high THC content, very high ratings on the strain, and Royal Queen Seeds is an actually reputable seed bank with international recognition for quality.

I took your advice and got the gorilla and north thunderfuck from royal queen seeds..

I apologize as I did not mean to slam attitude but I was indeed slamming a ton of vendors on attitude.. Seeds is a lottery and I lost the lottery a long time ago that left a permanent bad taste in my mouth..

With that being said attitude customer service is working with me through emails and they are as usual great...

I will update this with my gorilla glue as its growing slowly but beautiful..Unfortunatly its a ornamental plant due to deliberate miticide use, cuttings have already been taken...

Also I planted the remainder gg#4 seeds and had no sprouts.

Couple weeks back I had a some seeds germinating in soil, after 3 weeks no sprouts. I dug out the seeds and put them in paper towel in ziplock on my fridge..1-2 weeks later nothing, I put it back and I totally forgot about it..Some time ago I remembered and found one seed sprouted grew and molded out, that seed took over 3 weeks to sprout, wish I saved it as that could have been my 2nd plant

Still growing, did battle with dreaded mites....

Out of all 11 seeds this is the only one that popped and grew, so its a $150+ plant

For me its not about the money, its about morals, im now invested in a different breeder who actually replaced a pack that majority failed to germinate...One of the seeds was cracked in half!

Plant looks very healthy for battling with mites. (Fukn hate mites haha) I see you got straight onto them then! So far, looks like that $150 plant may turn into a good investment!!

Oh and my Royal Queen Seeds Gorilla and North thunderfuck sprouted today Planted one of each and both sprouted “Sounds like your too wet!!!, Damp but not Wet”

Its a beautiful plant with perfect structure, the clones are following the same structure. Looks like it will have big buds as the flowers consistantly flow down each branch....Not much smell atm but hope it will change...Im really hoping it turns out like dr.grubers phenos

Ive been tempted by Dr Greenthumbs seed selection lately. Seems to have some OG strains you can't get elsewhere? Only ever heard of expensive seeds and poor germination but you just confirmed it for me, I'll steer clear!
I wonder if they care about their rep online?

Gorgeous dakilla!! Dont you love how compact the plants get when grown outdoors! Shes still got a while, the smell is yet to come my friend and id say youll have some nice long colas for sure!

Im not too happy at the moment as unless this plant is a late turner I dunno if im growing Hay? I also baby this plant giving it my old plethora of ferts I only use for special occassions...

Very very light smell, not much trichs, I almost ordered some s1 gorilla glue from greenpoint today..

What really pisses me off is im supposed to have 11 shots at this plant and Greenthumb only gave me one shot which is bullshit..They really should replace my pack and if this plant is a dud I will never do business with them ever again..

Two of the seeds were literally cracked in half.....Funny I have a new pheno from turkish cookies, did I mention I get 100% germination with those seeds I purchased in 2018 and its sticky dense cryptonite.. I did come across only one dud from turkish cookie that was super big and fat and dense but had zero smell.. I have 2 keeper phenos from turkish and couple seeds left

I hope im wrong and this plant changes course cause I have 3 clones that are already considerable size

Still early days by the look of it dakilla!! Its in early flower. She will hopefully start putting out the trichs in the next few weeks!? Then the smell will come! Turkish cookies aye..... good germination rate!!

For 150$ plants they both look fine, have been thinking about the G13 fem from Greenthumb, but at 200 $ for 10 beans and the chance of them being bad germinaters as mentioned here, one really has to think about a potential purchase...

Ive had some amazing pineapple express from G13 a few years ago. I bought another 5 G13 pineapple express about a year ago. Only 2 germinated and 1 was shit. Ended up pulling it. The one that did was ok. But nothing like what i got a few years back. Ive heard G13 aint what it used to be....?

Ok,well cant say if the G13 has gone down hill over time, I had once as a clone, or atleast told it was G13, that the one I have good memories about and would like to grow it again.

But since 9/11 cuttings from the US is very dangerous since customs seem to check everything, even things within Europe, the only option is seeds...

Im just depending on this plant to put out cause up until this point I have been vey happy with greenthumb

Hard to say on germ rates as my sour diesel and turkish, both packs had 99% germ rates then the gorilla glue has like what 1% germ rates go figure!
