Taking fan leaves on mothers after taking clones

should i take some fan leaves on mothers after taking clones?
using aerocloner so branches are now short and close to stalk, fans are blocking light

Are asking if you should take fan leaves off the cutting? I usually remove fan leaves and branches except the top...but I do small clones.

If you are asking about fans on your mother then no I wouldn't. If you have to ask if you should then you don't know which leaves to remove . I remove very few leaves and only if necessary.

there are a bunch of short branches with a lot of nodes each but close to stem
fans are huge, blocking light. trying to aeroclone another batch in 2 weeks

basically asking do you defoliate mothers after taking clones?
any tricks to stimulate growth, dwc, L09 strips with growmau5 blue pucks, jacks nutes?
 
So you are saying the mother plant is blocking light from getting to the cloner? Why not just put a small light like CFL, T5 or small LED over the cloner?

If this is a vegging plant then no I would not remove umbrella fan leaves. Like @JohnDee said those are the engines driving growth at this point. If you were in flower and covering a node I would say do it, but it doesn't sound like you are yet...
