I feel like i did a decent job researching before I started. But i heard using distilled water would be really good for the plants
I'm liking the looks of that canopy. It doesn't appear that losing the fans hurt you too much. Flip 'em then happy flowering! Thanks, if you look closely I lost a lot of big fan leaves and brown edges and spots. Been really careful with watering and ph is adjusting slowly.
Those all look sweet!! Doesn’t look like it hurt you much. I felt almost like i may have pulled off too many. Left a few to soak up lightSwitching to 12/12 on 4/20.
I bend/train during the stretch phase of flowering get a nice canopy.its pretty much too late for a net. with scrog , you "train" the plant to grow sideways , along the net and everything under the net gets plucked off. You can still slightly bend them , a few days at a time and that will give you more "tops" but i dont like to do any bending/training that late in the cycle.
Just keep a oscillating fan going giving them a light breeze, I usually keep mine between the lighting and top of plants to keep them branches strong.Ok. Anything i can do make sure the branches can support the budd?
I use 1000w hid dimmable ballast, 500w for veg early and 500w to 750w late veg MH . Then 750w to 1000w flowering hps. Thanks for sure ill have to check the branches group and see whats up. I do have a few fans that are the bottom and also at the top. So they already do get a like breeze right now. Just some of the lower parts of the plant could use some more light but some of the upper branches are in the way or vis versa
Add pulverized dolomite lime to your mix at a heaping tablespoon per gallon of soil and watch your ph issues disappear for good. Not sure why people are not adding lime to their soil mixes and making things go smooth for themselves. Chasing PH is for the birds. Nobody has time for that..or they shouldn’t have time for it. Much better things to do in life than chase and be defeated by issues that never should have arisen in the first place. Add lime and always extra perlite. Forget ph. Forget ppm. Forget it all and just enjoy the grow show.Looking better than mine, had to go with cheap soil and been battling ph issues and should have added perlite for better drainage but I think of it as a challenge.
You can grow a lot more than three crops per year inside. I’ll have my third pulled down with 5 months left in a year periodPersonally, I wouldn't waste my time on that shit unless your growing a lot of plants outdoors.
For a grower that doesn't want to waste time (90 day's) and is growing indoors and has only a few plants, like around 6, just buy cheap fems and learn with them.
Much better use of time, which is critical for growers seeing as you can only in reality grow 3 crops a year.
