Need help sexing

I figured so. There are so many misinformation on the net about this topic... I can see night and day the different growth in males and females. The biggest ones are more likely to be male in my case, even bushier and fan leaves way bigger(ofcourse this isn't an 100% indicator when it comes to the many strain types). Sure enough when I check the main stalk of my favorite most vigorous grower the stem with a ball is there. It looks exactly like a developed pollen sack but with just one ball and many times smaller. Also most of the ones showing sex were males due to male preflowers showing earlier then females. I've only had maybe 2 females show pistils compared to the 10 males show stem + ball and the many that hasn't shown sex yet. I'm quite positive that I'm correct on my educated guess. For the most part, a tell-tale for sex seems to be that tiny stem that seperates the ball from the internode. All female preflowers that I have seen that weren't mutated of some sort looks flushed. Even the ones that looks like male parts(if caught quite early into the preflowering stage 4-6 weeks).
Right. It’s definitely a female preflower. Imagine it with pistils protruding and it’s spot on. Nuts never start off like that.

Have you taken a look at the most recent post of the preflower. These are just pictures I found on Google so the picture is quite small but there is a stem and a ball attached to it clearly. I believe that that pic is 100% male. What are your thoughts? Some of my plants that showed sex early mostly showed this type of preflowering.

What I meant by my latest post is this... Are these 100% males. View attachment 4322406
Look thats far too early to tell in the picture and if you flower enough plants you will see this exact same thing on both male and female. If it were a real preflower and not some pre flower hormonal defect it would grow quickly everyday accompanied by many others and after a short wait you wont need to be asking what sex as it will become perfectly clear.

Many growers seem to expect plants to show sex after a few weeks veg - it dosent always work like that and you will need to flip to 12/12 to get preflowers as a general rule.

Just wait things out - no misinformation just good advice that will make you much better at sexing your plants.

Peeps should be able to google up a few threads with weird preflowers or stuff that looks like balls on a female fem seed plant that then goes onto become 100% female just to see the stuff i speak off.

:-)

Can you point me to the thread you spoke of that has the stem + ball turn into a female. That just goes against all the research I've done. If you could do that I'd surely appreciate it but until then waiting till 12/12 is just not an option when I have to clear up my room to make space for transplants. If you can actually show me a clear picture where there is a stem + ball with pistils popping out I might reconsider my approach but until then I will have to side with everyone else telling me otherwise... Thank you for your help :bigjoint:

This is an article pertaining to what I've been learning.

What you are saying doesn't match up with this article. I can understand sexing too early when a plant has a small flushed bulb on the internode but a clear definitive stem and ball on a plant should surely be a tell tale sign.

I haven’t read all the comments but don’t worry to much about spotting sex early for 1 males don’t pollinate straight away the pollen sacks fill up and open over time not over night so you have time to make the correct call.

Don’t touch the balls, I once squeezed one it popped open and pollinated a few plants. CUT it down and bag it and put into the trash, this is very important because once cut a male down put it into the compost and it pollinated parts of my garden felt like such a dickhead.

Someone had a similar post yours minutes ago so Im going to paste my comment, hopefully you'll find it useful.
Your plants are still in veg correct? Well, wait until they are mature enough to show sex or throw them in flower. Once you're in flower you'll know for sure in about 10 days if they're male or female( I can't tell by that pic)...Also just some more info for you- but I had plants in veg that I thought for sure were males, then those same plants turned out being females once I was in flower. So don't just chop on a whim, by a quick glance those plants look to young to really tell.

Ya dude before they even get balls and stuff like what your mentioning - this is the last one but keep scrolling as i can find a ton similar.

At the end of the day its confusing and you need to flower them or wait for accurate sexual preflowers/pollensacs and not try to guess by minute things that look nothing like a fully grown sac/flower.

you are free to kill the plant or wait and make an accurate id but the way you are expecting nature to do what not many of us find and thats to sex out with short veg times just isnt bueno - we have to flip to flower or use fem seed mainly :-)

This^ Just be patient dude. Its seems like a lot of newer growers get really excited and tend to over think it all. Let the plants do there thing and they'll guide you. Once you start taking clones of a great pheno type you'll be able to keep it going in your garden for years to come. When you get to that point after a few runs with the same strain, you'll know that girl like the back of your hand- how much nutes to feed, how much topping, when to chop, ect. Who knows the one you think is possibly a male could be one of the great ones, or maybe not...but definitely not worth killing it off if you're not certain. By the way I wasn't saying you are new grower, just making a statement in general.
