Coming up on 6 days from seed. Pics of the remaining 5... getting slightly bigger now. Hoping by next week I have some actual growth. Two pictured: the Royal Gorilla is showing a deficiency already. The GSC looks healthy just not pointing up at the light, don’t think it’s damping.

Great! They're coming along nice in that case. I started with the pH fluid dropper tester kit and soon brought a pH pen.
I would guess most tap h20 would be neutral so ph 7.5'ish. That high will be the cause of any obvious deficiency due to pH lock out but easily corrected when your meter arrives.

Well... I am disappointed in myself for not prioritizing ph calibration fluid before I had to start watering. The growth is slower than it should be and the seedlings don’t look too happy. One of them definitely looks like damping now too, different from the one I originally mentioned and thought had it.

Thoughts from RIU? If it still looks like this tomorrow morning I’m going to kill it. They will make a quick turn around once I can ph the water.

There's me with the looks fine it'll be OK!! But it was either starve or feed a high pH you had to pick one.
I spray all my vegging plants, ( As soon as they get true leaves) with sparkling H20 for the Co2 dissolved in it. I first saw it on a guerilla grower on YT. I do not have any side effects from it. Co2 is vatal for photosynthesis and true leaves should.be able to absorb. All this while you leave them to dry before the next ph'd feed.

PH'ing is a waste of time in soil. you DO need to let the chlorine evap though. As long as your in that fresh peat/coco/soil then phing the water will not helo AT ALL. they dont look bad at all. keep um warm and let them cups dry out a tad before watering and they will be fine.

I don't totally agree with him on that BUT he makes a lot of sense and i agree with a LOT of stuff he says.
PH is very important but its not something you can change in a pot of soil in a couple months time.
PH IS one of the biggest causes of problems due to over/under watering, too much food , too much ph up and down and other causes....IN SOIL.

Any "soil" and most dirt acts as a buffer so no matter what PH you feed with , the soil is going to change it to the PH of the soil itself in a very very short time.

"Dirt" on the other hand is going to need prepped before using. (due to ph unbalance) same with plain peat.

There are a lot of folks that will disagree with what im saying but im guessing those are the ones who are just stuck in that hydro world. Now if your planning on keeping a plant going for years in the same soil then amending will be necessary to keep the ph in tact but you cant just change it by adding ph up or down to the water/food. thats a COMPLETE waste of time and money.
Example: Earthjuice is a pretty decent mostly organic liquid nute. When you mix it up to feed , its going to read about 4.0 on the PH meter. Use it for your whole cycle and you will never see a problem. You cant even test it for ppm or tds because its organic and tds meters read metals/salts.

Tonight is day 10 from seed. Practically no change in growth past 4-5 days except more discoloring - they look disappointing lol. Calibrated ph meter and ppm meter... after 24 hours of sitting out tap water tested 8.45 and 260ppm. That’s definitely not good. Currently letting them all dry out, by this evening the cups will all be light... some are right now.

Haven’t decided on rescue route but I’m either going to flush the solo cups or repot all 5 in 2 gallon smart pots with the good soil. I raised the light three inches last night just to see if that changes anything. Was at 32” now 35” in veg light only.

Going to be putting the humidifier in the tent tonight, it came earlier this week. The supplemental intake fan will be in sometime this upcoming week also.

Thoughts, comments, advice? Thanks in advance

You need to wait on repotting
They need to develop roots before leaves
I would wait till those little things are 6 inches tall before repotting
When they are small the trick is less "love"

Yes which was my original plan, 3-4 weeks in cups. Maybe I’ll repot them in new cups with the good soil instead of smart pots

Every time you disturb them you slow their progress = too much love
Do what you like but stop asking for advice if you are going to ignore it

They are not developing roots in current soil and cups obviously... so concerned current medium is already an issue and want them in fresh soil. I guess that’s inaccurate ... just leave them be is what you’re saying for best recovery/results? Either way it’s an open dialogue, no need to get upset

J, Herb is right about kid gloves are needed not a repot. This is a problem that someone MUST have had (I have not). Consider starting a new thread with these pics on "marijuana plant problem" and a quick outline. Weekends a good time to post. Good luck
EDIT: with respect to G2g, I still feed RO H20 with a smidge of cal mag pH' to 6.2. For the 1st 2 feeds in soil, then give a low ppm feed if they look well
