Dense nugs

My last grow was some fire. However the bugs were airy, almost bushy like? My question is what makes buds dense and hard after harvest?

People use the word dense, theres only so dense a bunch of hollow calyxs can get. Slice through my bud and its more honeycomb not dense solid

harvest when calyxs or bracts or whatever you want to call them are all individually swollen

ignore stigmas (pistils) and trichs if you want dense buds you gotta wait for all the calyxs to swell

I agree with lights and genetics. I’ve grown some that were dense to the point it was hard to smash down to grind up.

I'll try your technique on one of my plants and compare the results, I've always monitored the trichs via jewelers loop mostly cloudy, 10% -15%. amber. Cheers!

I did help - you said you picked early right after i said become a better grower. I wasnt being a dick just theres no trick to dense dank bud but perfect plants well grown given all they need.

I then went on to try and describe that densenes as some seem to have quite solid bud and that dont happen with hollow calyx so more a foam or honeycomb texture of tightly layerd calyxs.

As to dicking about when you have serious grow issues and questions - your probably better of posting on a site where most arent 420 high as pie with a small personal mountain of weed to burn at leisure.
