I’m growing in an IWS flood and drain and was wondering how long to flood now that roots are out the bottom of the pots,,
It takes 14 minutes to fill to the flood line and another 10 minutes to drain
When first potted I set the timer for 14 minutes and then left to empty but now as the roots are out of the bottom of the pots the lower roots are in water for 24 minutes,,
Should I cut the flood time down?
Is 24 minutes too long?
If I reduce the flood time/ height will the upper roots dry out?
Any ideas as to which way I should go with this,,
I am feeding twice a day but was thinking of upping to three, plants have been in veg for 3 weeks,
