Only 8 days into flowering. First time grower.

Is this a male?

and are these my females?

Only 8 days into flowering. Will take pics of each plant tomorrow, and see if we can pick out any other males to rid of.

I didn't look too good yet. Quite tired =O. Will give them all a good look tomorrow.

how many plants do you have?
males tend to show sex before females to keep your fingers crossed.
keep an eye out for those white hairs, you see anymore balls like the first pic up there..kill them

I am not positive, but I think I have 14 or 15 plants atm. I lost count because I had removed one here and there.

Hoping to end up with 8 females that be wonderful cause I have 8 square pots waiting for 8 purdy females

I didn't do enough research before purchasing that light =O...Only 4,000 lumens!!!!

I almost shot myself when I found this light that I'm using now (well I have 2 of them)

It's $10 cheaper and produces 10,000 lumens!

So I'm working with 20,000 lumens now. The lights cover my plant area perfectly!

I know some people suggest a lot more lumens, but I couldn't go the HPS route I wanted right now. Noise is a huge issue in my setup remaining undetected. So I needed lights that produced good lumens without producing tons of heat.

My temps have been great!

I'm using 2 of these pc fans Newegg.com - Scythe S-FLEX SFF21E 120mm Case Fan - Case Fans

1 for exhaust & 1 for intake. They are amazing! And are whisper quiet!

with flouro tubes the light is most intense at the middle of the tube..also the light intensity dramatically decreases the further away from the bulbs..just something to think about.

you would normally want to keep the plants small or LST for better light penetration to avoid getting the little popcorn buds that arent getting adequate light.

I'm hoping to keep the plants under 24" hopefully closer to 18".

I will probaly trim everything off the lower 1/3 of the plant between week 2-3 of flowering. This way it will be sea of green, and just produce a nice top cola. Light will be able to penetrate everything well

With fluorescents my plants TOUCH the bulbs. But mines are 40w T12s I can't image you'd need more than 4-6" (probably closer) and a fan on the bulbs keeps them quite cool. I predict the 3rd and 4th are girls, 75/25 F/M on the 2nd one. hope it's all girls!

I keep them about 3" - 3.5" away

I'm looking forward to pics, btw I covered the blue light up with black electrical tape, forgot to mention that before. It should only take a few minutes to see a difference in the smell.

I have mine outside the cabinet right now. After I sex and have more room I'll move it inside the cabinet.
