Og kush

One that has that pepery kush taste.
Dense nugs,
And a very hard hitting experience.

I have the options of
Privada reserva
Dinafem
Humboldt
Rqs

Also have some variations of kush like tahoo og by cali connection but i tried it and was not impressed

Last i can get some scotts og from rare dankness i smoked it and it was one of the strongest strains i ever smoked but it is very expensive.

What would your choice be?

Of all those, the best OG I have found came from Tahoe OG. It does require some pheno hunting though.

When I think of peppery kush, with a backnote of coffee, I think of Bubba Kush. I am an OG lover, and peppery is not one of the traits I find in OG. Earthy, mossy, sometimes hints of lemon Pine-Sol, but not pepper. Just my experience and my taste palette. Cheers and happy hunting!

If I don't get straight up Lemon Pine-Sol, I am disappointed. I just kind of ignored the peppery kush description since that is not what I associate with OG at all.

Mainly been smoking blue headband, scotts og and amazon kush lately

Gonna try tahoo one more time and also got recomended alien og and sfv og by cali. Gonna try m all and hopefully 1 has what i love

I don't have personal experience with them, but you might want to look into Karma Genetics for OG. From your list of breeders in first post, I imagine you have access to them. Personally, I would choose Karma all day over Cali Connection.

Yeah that is a serious issue for many growers. That is why fem seeds are used so much. As an example, I recently popped 3 Xmas trees, ended up with 2 males. For me, that is fine because I have plenty of room and had other things. But if I were in a position of only growing 3 total, 2 plants were a waste of 6 weeks of space, energy, time.

If you only have space for 3 just veg plants for a couple weeks and then flip to 12/12 till plants show sex. Then toss the dudes and switch back to veg to let the girls fill out.

If you are only running 3 due to legal concerns then I say funk that and do like 5, if regs, and once you flower you'll probably have males to get rid of and lower plant count then.

Og kush from HSO has a pepper taste but does not taste like og kush. That was a freebie though. Did not hunt.

Cant you go with the OG #18? By the looks of her she is a spot on resemblance of the clone only og out of California.

I hate OG 18. I have grown about 10 plants of it and gotten 1 or 2 good phenos. I have also gotten 5 or 6 really bad phenos that smell like dirty gym socks.

-OLD stock of Reserva Kosher Kush....the new stock is not the same from what i hear
-Headbanger from Karma. I'm running his karma og and skullcap now.
-I have a few very nice phenos of Seed Junky's Wifi3 x animal mints that are very OG Kush in flavor and leave that peppery incense in the air. They dont grow like og's though, they are much sturdier and heavier yields. I made some f2's of it and am running a couple right now.

rare dank has some good ones too...id definitely run the scotts

What didn't you like about cali's Tahoe OG? Did it herm on you?

Look for the big dark green, glossy (almost plastic looking) leaves. It has been many years since I bought mine, but at the time I got two main phenos. One was the lemon pinesol the other has a hash smell. The hash smelling plant is very very small and not very good to make up for such small yields. The lemon pinesol is frosty AF and yield is better than the hash but still not a good yielder.

Headbanger is supposed to be more sour diesel than og. He said if you want og then you would want the biker kush or sour power og.

My information came from Karma himself, he directly told me if your looking for sour then get headbanger or wait for his sour diesel bx. He said sour power og is straight og.
