In the real world of we typical Americans, if a police officer ask you, "which way did they go?" and you intentionally mislead them by pointing in the wrong direction, you are guilty of obstruction even if no crime was ever committed.

In the event a crime was committed, you are guilty of obstruction and aiding and abetting.

This rich man's interpretation they've come up with doesn't hold water in front of a judge. The problem is that Democrats are too chicken shit to do what should be done.

They're more worried about failing and losing their political clout than doing their jobs.

The danger I see in using obstruction against a sitting president is that it becomes an easy way to remove a president. We risk having permanent special councils.

Trump had the authority to fire Comey for any or no reason. It did not prevent or shut down the special council. Mueller got all the info he requested and finished his report. The investigation did not find the underlying crime.

I think it is important to see the next series of investigations close on the FISA abuse and related political spying because it may become clear that Russian collusion was a political back door hit job. In that case, obstruction is meaningless. We shall see.
