I have found that the GG4 really likes Potassium much earlier in flower than many strains. I would add some potassium, right after your done dosing nitrogen, but before you dose phosphorus, then again in the last 2 weeks after (or with, if your soil can handle it) the final doses of phosphorus- If you are using liquid fertilizers.

And don't skimp on the carb additions....Mine liked unsulphered mollassis.

In soil grows you really shouldn't be feeding them much of any nutes other than sulfur the last couple weeks unless they are obviously lacking something. Much less P than K after the stretch too. I add some Big Bud a week before flipping to prime them so they bud lots and bud fast.

I meant I didn't want to de-rail this guys grow thread with a soil/nutrient debate and was unclear if you were referring to the strain on topic or just in general.

Yeah you will for sure want a speed controller.One of the main reasons I'm switching over to CMH other than the superb spectrum is they put out quite a bit less heat.I just started several variations of Gorilla glue so I will for sure follow along hell might even get my journal going again .

does your gorrilla glue stretch like armstrong? Lol its seems like a super lengthy plant with spaced out nodes.

so half my crop is being decimated by spider mites ive washed the plants with soapy water, sprayed with permithrin , and quarantined 12 plants out of 21. I bought some ladybugs but i read something about not releasing them for 5 days after spraying pesticides. What should i do? Can i wash the permethrin off and release the ladybugs sooner than 5 days? What do you guys think?

Spider mites....think I got them right now too....I sprayed them with the soapy extracts, which worked in the past, but-

Now its warm enough in my area to rince them outside with a sprayer, gonna do that tomorrow.

Not sure where your at in flower but I'm less than 2 weeks in. If your later try to avoid getting the buds too wet, or do soon after the lights gone on so it can be evaporated quickly.

I'd release the hounds. The spray only hurts them when sprayed on them. Once dried on the plants it won't hurt them any. I use Safer's End All II with added neem or canola oil at 10ml/L. Got a few of the buggers left over from 'free' plants I got from a buddy over a year ago. Makes the buds taste like shit tho so the ladybugs are your best bet. They just fly up into my HID lights and get fried.

Do your best to get rid of any bugs before you start to flower. They'll take over if not dealt with ASAP.

Release the hounds, weather or not this works. Sooner the better with the (safer) methods that have been used already/tried.

My ordering trigger finger is at the ready within days if it doesn't work for me.....

IMO- Predators are the only real last resort...

i havent started flowering my 3 big plants yet, im going to trim them way down and try to get rid of as many spotted leaves as possible and veg for a couple weeks while i combat these spiders.

yea im hoping a couple weeks of biological warfare before flowering will do the trick.

I did the same. spray again 2 days after, and 4 days after. I like to do a folier feeding to rinse the film off in between and knock whatever is on there off as I proceed. Good luck man.

yeah i think you guys are right im going to release tonight in my quarantine area and then in my flower tent in the a.m. when the lights go off. Wish me luck! lol

I tried all kinds of garbage to control the mights but this is what finally worked. It wiped them out completely. Says you can spray on flower but I don't past 2 weeks. Kills them and there eggs. NPK industries Mighty Wash. It's premixed and says $40 but on line it's about $30 or less. This shit works.
