Sure, Maduro is a menace, just like most quasi dictators are, no rational human disputes that. Just like Saddam was. But do most Venezuelans support US intervention to remove Maduro? Did most Iraqis support US intervention to remove Saddam? What were the consequences, the cost, in dollars and in human life, of that endeavor after all was said and done? Where we're at today.. Was it all a net gain that we removed Saddam, despite the atrocities he committed against his own people and dissenters?

Manipulation of elections takes place all across the world. Does the US have the authority to invalidate the results of said elections?
If we do, then why are we not consistent? If we actually yeild the power to invalidate the results of international democratically held elections, regardless of the influence, regardless of the outcome, then we have to remain consistent.
