LED switchover now what

So a couple months back I seen the lengths LEDs have come and figured to experiment to see about the switch over. BUT with a change there comes new variables. The area I grow in is very prone to mold. Had one issue in the past and even after bleach downs sometimes I have seen some pop up. Once my temps get to 85plus and atleast 45rh with fans blowing I’ve had some problems. I’ll try weekly area spray downs...that’s just one thing. I was ready to jump off the cliff with wattage when now I’m reading 30w sq is sufficient to equate to a 600w hid. This has killed my temp problem of reaching into the 100s but now my temps rarely rise past 80f and honestly I’m scared to take them there because of mold.(quick fix to temp could be a bare bulb hid in the space).. so now that there’s a little background. I use QB boards, so penetration at 30w sq do y’all think they get past down 12inches of vegetation if lights are kept 12inches or more away. If it a thing to try and keep them as close as possible before any light burn. Even with this great growth I’ve seen im still skeptical of LED light intensity or maybe more of the newb led that’s in me

Sounds to me like you either need a new spot to run in, or you need to do a full tear out of your Sheetrock and your studs need a good 3-4 coats of KILZ mold stopper. Then replace that Sheetrock with new, mold resistant kind.

Also, LEDs at lower wattage how we run them, really dont penetrate as well. But that's easy to fix with a few side lights or under canopy lights

It’s concrete wall basement, now that is rainy season I think a nice bleach regiment and that kiltz would help. Got damn baby’s took my other grow space lol. I run purifiers around my house maybe invest in one for basement untill I move things to my new grow space. For my sog tables I’m not worried too much about intensity but now I’m interested in investing more into more frequent mother turnover and want to get the most out of them in flower. So should I give the side lights their own driver or let them split the wattage with overhang lights.

That's Completely up to you. If you have a good ppfd on canopy, add more wattage. If you're dinned down most the time, and have some wattage to spare, maybe split some.

Bleach will not kill mold it only bleaches the top layer..Mold has roots the penetrate deep into whatever substrate it's growing on Try TSP, Concrobium mold control or other mold killer to eliminate the mold and the root system..

Ok laying out my 800 boards and strips, any advice with the spacing for these boards with how much light they will cover. With them being so closely spaced and not as wide throwing me for a loop. It’s for a 4x4 space. The boards are only 7inch wide and 35 inches long

thank you will do..hopefully I’ll be in a new space by mid June.

Are you vented? If so then get new ducting and carbon filter. Your day temps.are less important than night temps/rh.

What is your grow style? Loads of plants packed into a small.area.is likely to mold.up.

Are you running the boards without heatsinks? Then my next step would be lighting them up and taking some temp tests. They should hopefully be good for 100-150w each with some airmovement.
