Yeh i think some have a kind of modified base , its quite normal from what I have seen , it will just be some form of modified flower part just not too sure what it's called , I always forget these things !

Its a female as defined by the pistils, there are weird kg mutations but thats just a normal female flower

I know there's no problem.
because of the angle of the photo you can't see well, but the pistillate preflower is equipped with a sort of stem...
that's all, I just wanted to let you see it, since I found it curious
