I nearly die'd snowboarding.... went off in to the woods, me going crazy..... didnt see that the mountain was gona end from the top.... and well my friends screaming at me .. STOP YOU FUCKING IDIOT, STOP ! THERE's A CLIFF !

--- So i do a 90° turn, skidded down about 3 meters and was hanging on my ass off the mountain........ My snowboard was hanging out of the cliff.. about 150 meters down...... 500 foot fall....

Suffered a lightning strike near the summit of Fairview Dome in Yosemite while rock climbing. Knocked us out for about a minute and my climbing partner had temporary paralysis in his hands for awhile (not good when you're rock climbing).

Did a 1/2g blow pin.... that was close..

The real close one was.. I didn't have my visor for my bike (bugs in eyes) so I took a side street.. I'd just left a stop sign and was at 16 mph..this car (1966 strato chief, old tank) went around a car parked partially on the side of road and he came into my lane and hit me he on at 50 mph.. I was thrown 50 ft...... when I woke up the ambulance was there and everyone was asking is he dead..fuck that was a bigger rush then the hit... that was in 1975 and 6 operations ago.... but I made it...

About 5 years ago I had a bad case of Crohn's disease. I had a major flare up which pretty much completely obstructed my small intestine about a foot or so past my stomach. I had the first surgery where they removed the diseased intestine and hooked me up to an ostomy. I was on the ostomy and iv nutrition for 6 months while I had 3 major infections resulting in sepsis. I was within a few hours of my death when I made it to the ER. I lost so much weight I went from about 140 lbs to 85 lbs when I stopped weighing myself because I didn't want to know anymore. 5 years later I am happy, healthy and strong.

I was mauled for a granola bar in my pocket by 2 polar bears while in alaska.
All i had to fight with was my fishingpole so i was liike phs whpsh psh psh
lost an arm but managed to fight them off with the pole.It was close.
