Sticky Grows

Flower day 14

Today was a flush day. I've been trying to do a flush between every 3 and 4 weeks. This is the 3rd since the grow started. Each of my 3 girls received 6 gal of pHd water only before receiving 1.5 gal with 6 tsp of big bloom, 2 tsp calcium and a half tsp of grow big. That should be the last N they get until week 6 after receiving another flush and half tsp. Next water will be the start of Beastie Bloomz which will continue until that next flush.

I think stretch is almost done.

Man, I totally underestimated how long that would take, and I don't think I went far enough even yet. Thank goodness I didn't have the 4th plant to do too!

So here we are. I might take another pass at them tomorrow night but, what do think think about this defol effort?

They've definitely bounced right back. I took a few more leaves Sunday but not many. I took all leaves with stems that were purplish, the oldest leaves. If the stem wasn't purple they stayed.

Nodes are stacking better this grow I think. Maybe due to QBs through whole grow?

@Steakbomb , @Or_Gro , do you guys use silica in your grow? I think I need to put that into the mix next grow. I used a lot of calcium with this one but, many of the lateral tops are still kind of spindly.

OG, did you get the other 6 girls chopped and all pretty?
If i use silica it’s buried in my technaflora nutes, i doubt it, tho...but i’ve heard plenty of goodness about it...could be tho, that issue is you are approaching the limits of your setup...

Only the OGs are ready, flushwise, right now (jh this weekend, tw next week)..i’m hoping to squeeze in 6-hours today for the OG, but may not work...

Right, its possible but, I think I have some room for improvements still. I've been reading about it. Apparently it helps with a lot of things but one of the main things is uptake of calcium.

Yeah I use silica. I find it helps the plants tolerate wider ranges for air temp/RH than they may otherwise be able to.
It's great for me because although I do control these variables, I don't have complete 100% control. I can get to a good range and keep it happy but I have difficulty achieving *perfect* conditions at all times.
