1/3 plants yellowing

Hey growers.
1 of my plants I noticed a few days ago started yellowing on the higher leaves. They were flipped on the 4th of February. I have had some dramas with spider mites, been spraying homemade insecticide soap and washing off with garden hose. Been keeping them away for a couple of days. Growing indoors in 3x3. Under 3x288 qb and far red initiation puck. Growing in soil, using rain water. feeding General Hydroponics 3 part flora series as per chart. Also using florablend, armor Si, calimagic, liquid Koolbloom. I just gave them a feed PH’d to 6.2. Ph run off 6.2-6.4.
Any ideas why it’s yellowing?

Few more updated pics from this morning if any has ideas. The 1 really yellow plant has a lot of spider mite damage but the white marks on leaves (pic1,2) kinda looks like white Mold? I have been using insecticide soap and hosing off with pressure and removes lots of eggs but just doesn’t seem to be working. I gave it some defoliation today to remove bigger fan leaves that had mites on them. Other 2 plants seem to be doing well (pic4,5)

Mite infestation and damage aside; I would think nearly 8 weeks into flower your plant is on her way to maturity and eventual death. Perhaps you're just seeing her natural fade as she begins to finish up? I would be hesitant to suggest it needs more feed based on where you are in flower (you should be tapering down at this point, not trying to go the other way). In my opinion I would mitigate the mites as best you can and finish her out without too much worry about your leaves. Looks like you have some nice girls going. Good luck.

Next time use cold pressed need oil 100% as a preventative measure or if u have then already u can make a foliar spray with neem oil soap and water but at 8 weeks into flower u might just have to deal with the lights neem has too much of a odor so I would never use past week 3 Flower or u risk it messing with flavor in ur buds

I thought it could of been yellowing up due to nearly finishing but the others seem to be doing really well and green. I gave it a feed yesterday and sat in my shed with a 9:1 solution of alcohol and water and a cotton bud going over and over and over the plant dabbing mites. Thanks mate. It’s a shame 1 is going bad this close to the end.

Good luck bro I hope everything works out :/ but next time it's easier to prevent then to get rid of. I wear gloves and only go in my room with my tent with clean clothes and never bring shoes in the room

Keep in mind you wouldn't be the first person to run a room of the same strain and have some finish up before the others, grow differently, smell differently, etc. Good luck.

I had 4 plants I grew outdoors last year. I stuffed up by starting them 2 weeks early so they flowered early. All the same strain some were 1ft high 1ft round some were 2ft,3ft. None were close to being the same it was weird.

So I just went out to give them a water. The 1 plant is still looking off. I could still see mites. I do have Persimilis bugs on the way hopefully they will help. I have noticed there are some lower yellowing leaves that look different. Any ideas calmag?

I would say no to the Ca / Mg issue, at least based on those couple leaves.

I have to think you're just approaching the end...wish I had something more definitive to tell you. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. I thought maybe calmag cause of the yellowing between the veins on the leaves that’s all.

And I would tend to agree...but from your pics it doesn't appear to be across a large population of your leaves (a couple leaves like you posted could look like that just from lack of light and / or the fact the plant is so far along in its life.) Can you take close up pics of the plant in question? I can't seem to be able to zoom in to really see your whole plant up close.

You don't need all those products. Too much of anything can cause nutrient deficiencies. Your leaves should not be yellowing at this stage of flower. Especially the top leaves. In fact the "Fade" is stoner science. A healthy plant will grow all the way to harvest with green leaves.

It is def not a stoner science its actually common sense. If your growing right from start to finish ur tapering down nutes then flushing the last 1/2 weeks depending if u taper or just stop and flush the last 2 weeks. The yellowing is from the lack of nutrients.

Also if u continue to grow the plant out it will grow to death and the color will start to fade way before it dies. Unless u have ran this strain with this same exact pheno type from this cultivar several times it is impossible for you to know if it def shouldnt be fading out at this stage in flower.

Sry not trying to be a jerk but the stoner science remarks get on my nerves. Especially people who say looking at triches to determine ripeness is stoner science and to look at pistils and all the other bs. We r all after the trichomes and whether ur after flower or gonna make extract again we r all farming trichomes and science has proved what the diff colors of trichomes mean. So why would u look at anything else to determine ripeness? Ive never had anyone be able to give me a straight answer to that question with any concrete evidence. Mainly i just get the "bc i said so"

Got a question. I haven't ever had bugs with my plants, and they're also very far into flower. Just into week 7. All clones from same Grandaddy Purple mother plant. Only having the issue with one plant on a few leaves midway up the plant. Thinking of just taking those leaves off. I began tapering off nutrients about a week go as I'm getting ready to chop at end of the month or first week of june. I need opinions on the sudden yellow areas like bleaching, and the weird spots that look to me like bugs I haven't found yet. I'm hoping it's just the plant using up the nutrients I'm tapering off.

Hey mate the marks on your leaves don’t look like bugs to me. Definitely not spidermites like what I had on mine. They leave more of a tiny white spot like the size of a pin head head on your leaves and little mites on the leaves. Worse then the devil!

Kinda looks like something has dried on the leaves in the 1st pic you haven’t Foliar fed your plants or anything have you?

I found with that 1 plant of mine that was yellowing off was a ph issue. Plus the bugs were stressing it out and it was finishing off quicker. Have you checked your ph? And run off ph?
