The good ole days

I’m an old man and I don’t get why everything is always “it was better in the good ole days “ . Seems like BS and what limited I remember I don’t remember it that way . I mean it was alright and some pretty damn good .

Weed today is AMAZING ! It’s like Willy wonky and the fn chocolate factory now . Anything and everything you want or could imagaine is available for consumption (ANYTHING !)

I also don’t remember getting dick punched so hard w/weed from the “good ole days “ . Now adays w/these mad scientists turning out fire after fire hybrids I gotta pop a bean of many many years past just to detox for a while .

I don’t know maybe it’s just me but seems like the “good ole days “ is right now and it’s only getting better ,that’s just scary .

The meth today is so very much better than just 30 years ago. You need to come out from under your rock more often.

It is a lie
Think Golden Years
Then take a short walk and not tear up
We had the pleasure of Columbia Gold, Columbian red and one hit Acapulco gold
the likes of which most who are now considered connoisseurs will never know
So the good old days are gone but certainly not to be sold short
Bring on the next chapter:peace:

I remember a time when Mexican brick weed was ceilingless. What I would give to find that again. Sure only 3% but you could adjust your high infinitely. Then there was Michoacan, the best weed I have ever had.

Will never see the Skunk #1 from the 80's early 90's again. Nothing now days has that just reeking strong skunk smell. I remember the Columbian Gold. Out of this world compared to the other commercial weed back then. You got to remember we were all a lot younger back than and didn't have the tolerance that we've built up to this day. That being said todays weed is like someone else said "amazing".

That’s what I was raised on Mexican brick weed right off the truck or fishing for lobina up in the Sierra madreas and getting it right from the source along w/bacanora .

I remember the days when each member of a internet forum had only one account. Everyone got to know who they were, and vice versa. Nowadays nobody knows who is who and there's no limits to the insanity. Not even the most threatening TOS can prevent this. It's confusing, and a little scary...

I’m new to the whole forum thing would you believe me if I told you I have never been on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any social media. Maybe I’m been niave but do that many people really have fake profiles. I can barely keep up with one I have and if so get a better hobby people that’s hell weird.

You mean you don't make hundreds of accounts, sometimes storing them for years, only to use them to stay on a site where everyone hates you and has told you as much with each iteration?

WTF is wrong with you? Don't you like to piss into the virtual wind?

That's just weird.

Thai Stick, not the lame flat ones, the ones the diameter of a little kids pencil. Honey oil. Oaxacan spears, and of course Colombian Gold with the leopard striped seeds.
In 1978 my speech teacher gave me a tiny little chunk of Thai Stick, and a few seeds. I didn't grow the seeds until I had gone and come back from the Navy. I had 7 sprouts, but all of them but one succumbed to a series of unfortunate events. She became known as Hard to Find, which explains why so many of the others cashed. It had angular, not curved limbs. True one hit pot. Only one hit shit I've ever grown. I hate that I didn't get to make seeds off her.

My friends and I bought a pound of Thai in 1969; never had anything since that was that potent, literally hallucinogenic sativa. Not even the modern stuff has that effect.

I've never indulged in other social media either. RIU is pretty much it. I feel no need to cheat on you people. You're all enough for me.

As far as the sock thing goes, it is real. And it is unsettling.

In fact, you're in one's thread at this very moment...
