I have heard about putting clones into flower just to sex the plant. I have been studying about revegging a plant as well. Also, isn't revegging a flowering plant called monster cropping or something of the sort?
Flowering and reverting back to veg is simply, reveg, pulling clones during flowering is called monster cropping.
Either way, I did waste quite a bit of nutes on that male but I'm not butt hurt about it. All these plants were bag seed I had friends save up.
Yeah thats how the game goes when growing from seed, you'll get a few males sometimes and there's really nothing you could have done about it without negatively effecting growth of the whole garden, you could save a week or so by starting at 12/12 but then your left with dwarf plants that will be 1/3 the size of starting at 18/6.
Using them to work out the kinks of my bubbleponics setup I rigged together. Long term, I plan on having about 4 different lights and rooms (seedling, veg, 1 or 2 flower, clone) and maybe one day even breed. Aiming to have a new crop every month. I don't know why I didn't start growing 10 years ago. Only reason I started now was because someone gave me a new aerogarden. My landlord used to grow here in my house when he lived here. There's a secret room with electric and ventilation that I've just been using as storage space. He'd probably let me pay my rent in weed lol.
But yep, never even grew a plant in soil, straight to hydro. Once I knock this out I'm definitely getting some feminized seeds and learning to clone.
One thing I was wondering. How long can a plant veg for indoors? Forever?
Good luck, big plants & multiple rooms are A LOT of work if by yourself, you can keep a mother for literally forever but, if you let its health decline to a point she and her clones will never be the same again.
(sorry about the blurples, trying to keep it low heat and cost efficient). Currently running a 450w and 600w viparspectras, 460 actual watt's drawn from the wall.
