Let's build a tent - with LIGHTS!

Okay guys - pulling the trigger on the tent. In fact, trigger has been pulled. Use it or lose it on funding.

My space only supports a 3x3 config - that is what I have coming. But, I am TORN on lights.

  • I am looking HARD at the Timber 4vs - but I want some opinions.

  • I am also very interested in the QB kits. Do you think for a 3x3 that the 320W XL QB V2 RSpec would fit AND would do a good job? 36x36 tent and the light specs show (891mmx205mm) - this would be 35x8. Is that overkill, will that fit properly?

  • The QB kit above has the new RB with the inclusive red lighting, yet? The new 288's I believe?

Building from scratch - true DIY is a bit outside my comfort level. I have a plant that is well into veg (looking very healthy) in a 5 gallon space bucket. I'd like to let her stretch her legs another week or two in the tent with the right light before I send her to flowering so time is of the essence. Tent will be here tomorrow for setup - fans on Tuesday (along with everything else).

What would YOU do given these conditions?

ive been looking into quantum LEDS from HLG, they seem perfect for a hot summer indoor grow but lacking a bit of heat if your in a cooler region~ when u may only want to use these lights in supplement to an HID source

I am looking for a SINGLE LIGHT solution. The funding just doesn't allow me to add several lights.

The 4vs is a bit excessive but will cover a square better than the hlg XL, HLG do a XW where the boards are orientated the other way but are only available at growerslights and not sure if they do that in the 320w model.

Both lights will give you awesome results.
If you go with timber see if there is a discount code for riu members. There often is.

I'm working on a small tent light,
H_influx_L09 x3 3000k, and 2 x 5000k
You can switch on either set or both depending on what stage of flower you are at
It consumes between 100 and 150W depending on the mode selected.

It seems to me, for the money, one light for the cost of around 550 or less, is the best option. That said, if there is a compelling option of MULTIPLE lights within that price range, I'd be all ears!

Lol you can pay 270 for 2 logic pucks that will bleach a 3x3, go with red initiators with the remainder money. multiple lights are better. Growmau5 for the win.
