I got a 240 kit off Alibaba they put out 45 volts is that right for the lm301b in SK flux and AZ voltage bin in 3000k

That light you posted above looks like a blatant copy of what a USA co designed, builds and sells, the co that have been employing a copy-write lawyer lately.

1. 4pcs high efficient lm301b 288 board
2. 1pc heatsink 660x490x4mm (the same as horticulture)

the same as horticulture?

horticulture?
I bought a kit off Alibaba and I want to know if the boards should be putting out 48 volts and not 45 like they are putting out they are supposed to be a 288 with lm301b in SK flux and AZ voltage bin. So ya it is only using 45 volts is this right and 229 watts out total

Hey guys
I have a mother tent and a clone/veg tent i was looking to light and was wondering if these meijiu lights would be appropriate.
My mother tent is 80cm x 80cm x 160cm
Clone tent 80cm x 45cm x 80cm
Was looking at ordering 4x of the 4000k version

I think for that wattage you would be better off with HLG qb120s or Atreum 144.2 boards as you won t be saving much at all and not have the same ease with warranty claims and such.

Well I figured it out my boards are 16 series an 18 parrallell so that's why there 45 volts

Pretty damn good prices if u ask me

Is that price for 1 240w fixture?

Kingbrite Jerry was the first reliable led-cob dealer anyone found on Alibaba.
Not heard any complaints on his boards from people buying them. I guess they are as all right as any other Bubber; id never expect HLG quality/bins but still well worth it, especially if allows you to drive 2 boards at half power instead of one at full.

Leverage diode count is becoming my mantra

Jerry is a legit source and has been for the at least the past 15 years in the LED community before people even started using LEDs for growing plants.

You didn't figure out shit to be honest. Do you actually know why are you only getting 45V on a 48V board?
Ya I hope so!! It runs 16 series and 18 parrallell so if these are the lm301b in SK flux and AZ voltage bin it would be a 45 volt board if u ad up the voltage for each diode

If you had 15 series you would still be reading 45V running them at higher current or if you had 17 series running them at lower current.

anyone know we're the best place to ask about this I can't get no answers at all
Take it easy. Could you maybe give us what is the exact driver? Also comment on how you got the voltage readings, multimeter? if so you should have the current aswell which would be the end of this mystery. the wattage you quoted is 229w, is that on the ac or dc side?

if its a HLG240-48x, datasheet says 5 amps output, 45V x 5 amps is 225 W. if the 229w is on the dc side then there is absolutely no anomaly. if its on the ac side then it seems your driver might be a few % under spec or measurement error. Again, you should check how much current it gives.

it might well be that your driver is a bit under spec which wouldnt surprise me. Unless you wanna send it back to china and argue with the supplier you might be stuck with it.

Never buy a driver from china unless you see it as disposable and unwarrantied. theyre pretty much the same price from digikey anyways.

Edit: sorry, i realize you posted the driver, 48b version on last page. Is there a dimmer? If so you can probably squeeze out more power by disconnecting it for full power.
229w Ac: something up, either in measurements or driver not outputting all 5A or being magicly efficient (like 100%)
On DC side: its normal, see dimmer advice above.
Hope it helps.

It'll do as a bit of side light for one plant until they burn out lol

And a bit of trivia
Purple stars are something the human eye won't easily see because our eyes are more sensitive to blue light. Since a star emitting purple light also sends out blue light — the two colors are next to one another on the visible light spectrum — the human eye primarily picks up the blue light.
